Reached out to Andrew late afternoon on the weekend, and although he had short notice, within minutes he proceeded to work and initiated the steps of the loan process. From Pre-Approval all the way to Closing, he provided guidance and answered every question promptly along the way. Excellent job and hopefully everyone can end up with an Andrew!

Don’t use builders preferred lender
Even though I wouldn’t say our experience was terrible I will say it wasn’t very good. If you are buying a new construction home do not use the builders preferred lender. These people did not communicate hardly anything with us while we were waiting for our new home to be finished. They seem to have so many clients that they can’t keep up with notifying about updates or anything that was going on with the loan. Our closing costs were all over the place and we didn’t get one phone call to let us know what was going on. Ed is nice enough but I think he just has so many clients that they can’t keep up with. They were not very 1 on 1 with us and my husband and I were left feeling left out in the dark more times to count. Not to mention you need to schedule a call just to talk to him.
Megan's Tip: Use a smaller company lender. Don’t use a preferred lender.

I had the pleasure of working with Keila, and a can't say enough good things about her. She went above and beyond to help me, and my husband get our loan. She was constantly in touch with us and helped us every step of the way. We had a lot of questions and concerns, but she was always there to answer them and put our minds at ease. She was patient, kind, and professional throughout the process. What really stood out to me was how she treated us like family. She was always available when we needed her or responded as soon as she was available. we had no problems reaching her. When we started the process, we were told by a loan officer that we cannot afford to buy the house we wanted, so right away we knew we did not want any negative anergy during the process. We also deal with others who ignored us, didn't respond to our needs or just disappeared when we needed them the most. We are so grateful Keila was different, we couldn't have done it without her. Double Check Everyone and Everything at Jet, besides Andrew
Jet homeloans was offering a very good deal in todays mortgage climate. It was one of the reasons I choose to go with Jet. Andrew Pennink was knowledgeable, helpful and seemed to want to get the best deal for me. However everyone else I dealt with at Jet was not helpful, and they used the complexity of the contract that left me missing out on almost $2k at closing. During underwriting they rolled the $2k I had put down to secure the contract into the overall amount, something I did not want to do, and was not the financial plan I would have ever chosen. They did not consult me about doing it, and even during closing when I contacted Andrew, he was perplexed that this occurred. The only reason I am not giving Jet a lower score is because of Andrew, he was helpful and I wish I could have only worked with him as I would have been much happier with the process.
David's Tip: Only deal with Andrew for as much as you can, if during the process you are dealing with someone else, don't trust them and lean on Andrew for any and all things you don't feel 100% comfortable with.

Easy Process
Greg was always great with communication. I primarily liked to communicate via email, and he was always very quick to reply to any of my questions.
David's Tip: Use the APP! I uploaded most, if not all, of our documents via the app. If you stay organized and upload the required documents in a timely manner, the process goes very smooth. Also, if you have any questions, just ask. Greg is willing to help answer any questions you may have or give you the contact for the correct person that will assist you.
