Lengthy Process
We feel that there were to many mistakes made. The time of over 3 months and after signing 9 addendums took way to long. The stress on my family of panic attacks and hospital bills, rent and not being able to give a notice to rental company, because we never knew if we were getting the house, is costing me so much extra! I just kept hearing because of covid and people working from home, it's taking longer to close. We lost our moving truck because it was pushed back and so on and so on! We are grateful to have finally moved in and happy with our loan, but I would never recommend Shannon Kellar to anyone Sincerely Frank and Kayla Hyatt

Outstanding Customer Service
I was in the application process for a loan through Bank of America. They were slow, hard to contact and giving me the run around. Wes was recommended by a friend and I gave him a call. Wes was very helpful, fast and always able to be reached. He always explaied the process as we went along. BofA approved my loan on the last day of my contract. Based on Wes’ customer service, I opted not to use BofA. I got an extension on the purchase contract and stayed with Wes. We closed only one day after the scheduled closing. I will recommend Wes to any looking for a home loan.

Gordon Palmieri is the BEST in the business!
I was nervous about how the process with Gordon and FBC would be as he was the “preferred” lender on the new construction home I purchased. That being said, if you worked we the preferred lender the builder paid $4,000 in closing costs so that was too great to pass up. From my first phone call with Gordon he was SO easy to work with. This is actually my second time purchasing a home. I didn’t know if I wanted to keep my first home as a rental house or sell it. Gordon gave me the facts and I decided to sale! Gordon is not one of those lenders that tells you are good to go and the ask for more documents. When he says clear to close, you are absolutely clear to close! The lender for my first home purchase really put me through the ringer, down to asking for college transcripts! Gordon made this purchase an ABSOLUTE BREEZE!

FIRST TIME HOMEBUYER
First time homebuyers and we heard alot of stories. About all the paper work. But Jorge, Rolando and Ana made it easy especially with the esign on the computer. This team gave us great service. Even with all the delays with a new construction than the Pandemic (COVID-19) hit. Kept us well informed with emails and phone calls. When we had questions they where available with answers and on point.

Find a new lender
This loan process was unlike anything my husband and I have ever had to deal with. From the disorganization to the constant asking for same documentation over and over as if they lost or misplaced my personal sensitive information. All contact was done late at night sometimes even after 10:00pm. Always was told how busy they are so that made it seem like they didn’t know how to handle the workload and thing are falling through the cracks. Also I was asked to have my employer verify my income the morning of closing only to then say never mind?!? Felt so odd and strange Because nothing had changed and we already had the clear to close. Not to mention the day I closed I had to wait over 3 hours for them to send over the funding which after several phone calls to the loan company and yet another apology They advised that someone had made yet another mistake and they would complete the transaction. Let just say if it wasn’t for the closing cost I would have never continued to work with them and at this point would not be surprised if my personal information was hacked. Hopefully they can learn from this and I can only hope that no one else has to have this kind of home buying experience.
