Jody was horrible to work with! She was absent from 70% of the loan process and would need to be brought up to speed every time she did come around. Her assistant (Kayla) did a phenomenal in picking up the slack but there was a lack of communication from Jody to Kayla. Kayla was always spun up and had the documentation needed, Jody never knew what Kayla was doing or what she possessed. When this would happen, Jody would reach out to me in order to resend the documents. To put the icing on the cake, Jody called me the Sunday before closing (which was on that Wednesday) to verify I had received the email containing the contingencies to close list!! She proceeds to blame me for the reason why we could not close on time. At this point she asked me to resend all of the documents listed on the contingency to close email. She was extremely rude to my girlfriend before she was removed off of the loan. She also was very unprofessional with my broker. Statements from them can be retrieved if needed.

Find a new lender
This loan process was unlike anything my husband and I have ever had to deal with. From the disorganization to the constant asking for same documentation over and over as if they lost or misplaced my personal sensitive information. All contact was done late at night sometimes even after 10:00pm. Always was told how busy they are so that made it seem like they didn’t know how to handle the workload and thing are falling through the cracks. Also I was asked to have my employer verify my income the morning of closing only to then say never mind?!? Felt so odd and strange Because nothing had changed and we already had the clear to close. Not to mention the day I closed I had to wait over 3 hours for them to send over the funding which after several phone calls to the loan company and yet another apology They advised that someone had made yet another mistake and they would complete the transaction. Let just say if it wasn’t for the closing cost I would have never continued to work with them and at this point would not be surprised if my personal information was hacked. Hopefully they can learn from this and I can only hope that no one else has to have this kind of home buying experience.
