Smoothest Real Estate Transaction Ever
Working with Kristin on my recent home purchase was an absolute pleasure. From the first consultation to closing, her professionalism and expertise (and friendliness!) were evident. She took the time to understand my situation, providing tailored advice and solutions. When you are buying a house in another state without being able to attend closing in person, you really need someone trustworthy, and let me assure you, Kristin is just that. Her industry knowledge and clear communication made the process smooth and stress-free. She was always responsive to my texts/emails, so I felt supported every step of the way. Her commitment to customer satisfaction is on another level. The portal she uses that assists you in uploading docs, etc. is really intuitive and leads to the smoothness of the transaction. The whole process was just incredibly straightforward, which is so welcome during what can be a stressful time for a lot of people. I highly recommend Kristin to anyone seeking mortgage services.

Kristin will do all she can to make sure you get the house you want, she will research programs that may help assist you with the purchase of your home and ideally again get the house that you want. She will notify you of forms that need to be filled out promptly to continue with the process. When it comes to communication, I believe it can be improved on. I found a lot of my information through my real estate agent. However none the less she will give you the house you want and try to decrease your interest rate.

Kristin did a fantastic job from making the process as user friendly as possible. She got us a better rate, matching a competing lender, after our initial application prior to close. She worked with our homeowners insurance company and title company seamlessly. We had our preliminary closing documents a week ahead of closing. I’d use her again in a second.

We embarked on a very short cycle home sale and home building to facility our down sizing strategy. Given current financial realities, we opted to leverage some of our investments by securing a loan for our new home. Given our age and situation, we were not sure we would be qualified to enter into a new mortgage. Ms. Kristin Hawkins, who we secured a mortgage for the home we just sold almost 17 years ago evaluated our situation and was encouraging and supportive of our strategy. As Good As Advertised
I received a recommendation about Kristin from a realtor who had worked with her. I had contacted my credit union, and while their rates were good, their timeline was not matching up with my needs. Kristen promised she could turn around our cash out refinance as we were trying to help one of our children with a home purchase and needed cash to level the playing field. She promised if we were diligent in responding to their requests that we would be done in 4 weeks. As promised we were closed in exactly four weeks and would have been slightly sooner if I had not made one late change.
Francis's Tip: Be ready to move quickly but their online process and automated follow-up makes the process very simple and easy. Uploading of information to secure site was great too.

So simple
It was so easy to work with Kristin at FBC. I thought I was totally in for it after having Bank of America told me I didn't fit the credit score threshold, making me wait 3 months and a lot of heartburn. I'm so glad that a neighbor referred me to Kristin.
Arlene's Tip: FBC does everything online, explains things every step of the way and there were no surprises from their end. If you have any question or experience where a lender is telling you information that doesn't jive with what you now about your profile, I would recommend you drop them like a hot potato and call Kristin. I found out that BoA had DOWNGRADED my score 50+ points, for reasons I could only guess. (No wonder there was a billion dollar judgement against BoA for unfair lending practices!) Kristin had me out the door in weeks because I had all my info in order, and what FBC obtained was exactly what I thought it was. I'm totally pleased and thankful!
