READ documents carefully prior to signing
For the most part our closing was fine, I did like having the opportunity to review docs online and sign those that were appropriate for online signature. I found two errors, one multiplying the taxes in error (increasing the monthly payment) and a waiver of taxes upon request being escrowed. I contacted the LO and this was corrected and resent, but it emphasizes the need to carefully read/review all docs prior to closing!! The LO was very responsive, if he couldn't answer a call, he called me back very quickly.

Getting a mortgage loan was definitely one the most stressful things I’ve ever done but I was blessed enough to have Ms. Edna Garcia as my loan originator. My profile was quite complicated since we were immigrants from the Philippines and we have been here for less than a year, making it way harder to get approved. But, Ms. Edna was very thorough and she looked for every possible way to push our application through. She was very patient with me whenever I felt overwhelmed with all the different things that I have to complete and submit. She made herself available to answer my questions even if I was calling her beyond business hours due to my line of work. She was very understanding and she did her best to accomodate me.
