I have been working with Greg for many years now. I cannot say enough good things about him and his team. Greg has essentially made the impossible become a reality. I am a Canadian who has decided to invest in Florida. I am also a builder in Canada and deal with Mortgage brokers on a daily basis. Greg is hands the best mortgage broker I have ever dealt with. Whether it is Sunday morning at 6 am or Friday at 5 pm, he always answers my calls and goes the extra mile for his clients. I am an absolute headache and we have managed to get a ton of deals done because of his patience and dedication. What a fantastic experience. Robin helped me endlessly to find a home for just about 7 months while I moved across states, handled difficult life situations, and looked all over Southern California for a home. She was there with answers for any question, no matter the time or day. If she didn't know something at that moment, she'd find out and get back to me ASAP. When I didn't get in contact for a while, she'd get in touch to check the current status. Robin is very very responsive, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! Her team was as well, although I mostly only interacted with her assistant Sara Speer who did a great job maintaining documentation and organizing next steps during the loan process. When we were finally ready to close on a house, we closed in 22 days for a short-term escrow and during the overall time I was working with her she was able to close on a different house for someone else in 14 days. She works around the clock (and needs to probably have a long holiday) to ensure her clients feel well taken care of and aren't left without help. FBC Mortgage offers a wide range of loan options and she's very informed on all of them (and is willing to search for weird circumstances) which was super helpful for my unique situation. Thank you Robin and team! I'm grateful to finally have a house and will definitely be staying in contact for future loans when needed.
Sarah's Tip: Look into FHA 203(k) loans if you want to bundle a small amount of construction into your loan type (45 days+ for closing, up to 30 or 35k added to the loan for handling home repairs). Robin and team can support these.
