We worked and compared a few lenders before finally closing with Jordan. While we did recah out to them last the speed with which they moved was quite admirable. Throughout the process Jordan was always available for consultation and offering advice on things that we should watch out for. We also received a very competitive rate. Since this was our first home, there were quite a lot of digest and process and the Jethl team was always available to guide us through.

Terrible lending experience
We had the worst experience with Daniel Peluso in Bluffton, SC. We have bought and sold many homes over our lifetime and never experienced such difficulties. He was a “preferred lender” so we thought for ease of process and a small incentive we would use him. That was a mistake, he lacked communication, we never heard from him. A few times, I had to ask the realtor to try and get in contact with him since we could not. When he eventually quoted us a rate, it was almost a full point higher than the competitors, and it included buy-down points, which we specifically said we did not want to buy-down the rate. The competitor rate had no buy-down points and was still so much less. After a lot of unnecessary stress, we switched lenders and the process was so much easier. Do not make the mistake of using this lender. It will cost you more in the end.

Hit or Miss
We got a wonderful rate using this Lender, the best we could find anywhere. Chris Zalupski was professional and a great loan officer who we trusted fully. The processor for our loan was nothing short of a nightmare from harassing messages, aggressive language, and being out right deceitful. Her communications with us were wildly tense and stressful lacking any manner of common sense, positivity, and professionalism. If we hadn’t been extremely proactive and worked extra hard to ensure that everything was in order, I don’t believe we would have closed on our loan in time due to the loan processor.
Brittany's Tip: Ask for Chris Zalupski as your Loan Officer, he’s amazing. Triple check everything the loan processor asks for and does.

Great team work
Buying a home and getting a mortgage is never an easy or fun process. Pam (the loan officer) and Amy (the processor) made it as easy as possible. And the ability to upload documents via the online portal really helped.
Clark's Tip: Get all the documents you need organized after speaking with the loan officer. Or at least know where those documents are in your home or office.

Great but not transparent at beginning
When we first signed the documents at Coventry, we were told we were going to get interest rates of 3.99% first year, 4.5% second year and 5.5% 3rd year with option to refinance. We were told later that we could not get that deal anymore and added extra 0.5% to the same model. Coventry did give us extra gutters and a coach light. I wish Coventry and Jet Home loans would honor what was stated to the customer upfront.
