I purchased a home with JetHome and Dabney as my LO. I used VA & builder credits to ultimately walk away on closing day with a check in hand. Dabney worked his magic, did his thing in order to move forward from the first approval. I can say that closing wasn't as much of a crisis as it has been named to be. Dabney is available just make sure that if there are any questions or concerns, you reach out. His response time is quick.
Nicole's Tip: Stay the course ... ask questions about anything you do during this process and get clarification on the info/pamphets provided.

Consider all your options
Initially had a great experience with the process and easy to use upload portal. Communication was good. Things then changed later in the process as we got closer to closing. Once rate was locked in, we should have had final figures for closing. We didn't get final figures until an hour before closing and they changed the structure of our loan last minute on us. We were forced to close that day by the builder otherwise we would have lost our deposit. We were also purposely told the wrong amount to wire in requiring us to go back and send anther wire on Saturday.
Brian's Tip: Find another lender. I know it's hard with new home incentives, but communication and clarity are more important.

New homeowners
We just closed on our house last Friday and it went smooth on the lender's end. They have an app that took us step by step and made things easy. We were able to do everything on our Android phone, awesome.

Terrible Mortgage Experience
Ended up paying cash for the home. The loan terms were high (I had a lender tell me that they could do for almost half a point less and less closing costs), but more importantly the process was super uncoordinated and until they needed something from me I never heard anything. The day of closing I had someone ask me if I was in Florida (which I was not) despite my repeatedly informing everyone. Never felt like I was getting the best service or best deal. There were individuals at Jet that were great (eg. Felicia) but as a whole it was not a great experience. Also I asked Jet if I could back out of the loan and pay cash the day of closing and I was told no. But then I called the title company and she said give me 30 min and I can make it happen! Kind of shady. I probably would not take a loan from them if I could avoid it!
