Room for Improvement
Communication and transparency were great at first but as the process continued and we were closer to closing, that decreased. It took us multiple attempts to get answers and information and throughout the process our realtor team was consistently left out of communications. We were very happy with our loan just wished the communication was more consistent and timely.

Poor Communication
We purchased from Jet Home Loans because it was required for our incentive on our new build. We found the communication to be pretty bad. As first time homebuyers, we didn't really know what questions to ask or what was going on, and often questions asked via email went unanswered. It was very frustrating. They also had 3 different people talking to us and I did not know who the primary contact should be or why there were so many people involved. it was also a challenge that they are in Florida and we are in Colorado. That time difference was challenging sometimes.

Helpful and responsive
Jordan and his associate Vincent were very helpful throughout the process. They responded quickly when I needed anything, and when it came down to crunch time they scrambled and got it done, despite some last minute complications.

My situation was unique and the patience provided by Jordan and Vincent was GREATLY appreciated. The response and follow-up was perfect. When Jordan was not available, Vincent was able to step in and continue the process without a pause. I must say that I was a bit hesitant at first, but all of my questions were answered and I was able to close without delay. As a matter of fact, I have already told a colleague about Jet HomeLoans.

Not Transparent to the customer
The cash allowance by the builder to use their preferred lender is an eyewash. The actual value could be peanut compared to other mortgage lenders. The loan officer got the loan approval only 2 hours before closing and did not inform me about all the details except how much I needed to pay. I could not use all the money my realtor wanted to contribute. I could have used the money to buy points to reduce the interest rate. The loan officer or their representatives were unavailable at closing for any questions. Hence, I had to call, but the loan was processed when he returned the call and followed up. The final statement for closing should have been given to me two business days before the closing to verify it.
Goutam's Tip: Do not pursue the lender at all.
