George helped my fiancé and I buy our first home. He was responsive and always kept us updated on everything every step of the way. He made everything stress free and far easier than I imagined buying a home would be ever be. My closing was completely done in under 30 min! I could not recommend him enough!

Bumpy but funded
My experience with Jet was not the best. The Loan Officer was responsive to questions but was usually dismissive and had a standard "that is just the way it is" attitude. My wife and I have excellent credit and the underwriting process was pretty seamless but the closing was horrible. The day of the closing ,that was known and confirmed by Jet over 2 weeks in advance, was pretty bad considering the Loan officer either did not schedule the final inspection or forgot to do it so our loan was not funded right away. So we sat for an hour while the Title office called anyone that they could at Jet....no answer. Finally after 90 minutes our loan office was contacted and said "ummm.. could you go to lunch and come back later after we get the inspection down on your newly constructed home? We cannot fund it until that is done...I apologize for the inconvenience." So I am not sure if this is a Jet problem with process or just an oversight from the Loan Officer. Either way.... this is not acceptable to be at the Title office and having to wait on your lending company to fund the loan. After leaving and fuming while I got into the car to go to lunch , we get an email saying "Ok we will fund the loan and make an exception" I would hope so , because it was their fault this hold up happened. After 30 minutes of signing documents and 90 minutes of wondering what JET was doing with the funding of the loan, we final got our keys and moved in. In summary...I would NOT recommend Jet. The only good thing out of the process was that the lender paid many of the closing costs if we used this lender...now I know why.

There were so many mistakes i made during this process but Chris never gave up on me or the process. I learned a lot for next time and hope to work with Jet Home Loans again in the future!
Alyssa's Tip: DO NOT use credit cards during the process. Just use cash, DO NOT open a credit card, DO respond quickly to the loan officers emails and always be respectful.

Poor Service, Poor Standards, Poor Work
I worked with jet for a loan on my house because they were the recommended lender with our builder. and I would receive a credit with them for closing. This was NOT WORTH IT. I would have payed extra to work with a more competent set of people. Throughout the entire process, they constantly asked me fore more and more information and found every means to make the loan process difficult. They went to lengths unnecessary to make the loan process unbearable. This included finding my parents credit scores and pulling them against me in my loan process, questioning me about businesses I've never had involvement in, signed letters qualifying myself as a recipient of my own bank accounts, clarifying my employment multiple different ways despite obvious paychecks from my employer, multiple levels of college transcripts, and more. If you're interested in taking a loan for your home, I would go to a dog or a goldfish before I would use these people again. My wiring info wasn't ready until 18 hours prior to closing and my original closing date was delayed by their incompetence.
Kyle's Tip: Don't work with these people. They will make the process more difficult and they are incredibly expensive.

Exhausting
I was required to use Jet HomeLoans to get builder incentives. If I was not required to, I would have gone with another lender. They seldom initiated contact, and when they did, it was in the form of a video. I do not like watching videos. I constantly had to reach out to find out what was needed, what was missing, what's the status, etc. This is the fifth property I've purchased, and I have never been so exhausted at the end of the process as I am now.
Stephanie's Tip: If forced to go with this lender, make sure the processor has experience or is closely supervised.
