Bill was great. The underwriter was HORRIBLE
Underwriter delayed the entire process, requested paperwork I had already submitted multiple times, and demanded paperwork that did not exist. Bill Tice was great. Always helpful, answered calls, returned calls quickly, and made me feel like a priority. Would have been a five star review if not for the unbelievably horrible experience due to the underwriter.

Lack of communication with all
From our first encounter his attitude lets you know that he has other things he would rather be doing with his time. Items were sent to him multiple times, he would not return calls from myself, my agent, or the law office handling the closing. The law office finally called my and asked if I would try to reach out to him because he failed to turn in paperwork for CTC on 2 deadlines. When I reached out, he gabe me a long story for why and blamed the law office not knowing I had just spoken with their team leader. When confronted, he did not appologizes only said "I'll get it to them." It took a second call to him where I had to be more assertive and told him that he was the only thing holding me from closing the next day, which was a Friday. He still did not send the in formation until after 5pm. The team at the law office stayed late so that I could close before the weekend. Not sure if he is over worked or does not care to work. I do know that his communication skills are lacking and that I would not want him to interact with my customers.

Wonderful Home-Buying Experience
It was great working with Corey to finance our new home. He was very easy to communicate with and always available to answer questions or ease concerns. The process went very smoothly and was relatively stress-free. Overall we'd definitely turn to JET Home Loans and particularly Corey for any future financing needs.
Cesar's Tip: Save your emails/documents and trust the process. They will ask for many of the same documents multiple times but with digital pdfs available for everything these days it's not so bad.

Jet Home Loans was the first company I came upon for home buying. First timer so I had no idea what to expect. Using a VA loan is a task in itself, but Angela is AMAZING. She went above and beyond to secure my loan and that she did. Always kept me updated and did everything in her power. She is truly an amazing Loan Officer and I couldn’t thank her enough.

Worst experience ever
This is not the first time I have purchased a home and jet loans had made it a nightmare. Trying to get my loan officer to contact me back was a journey in itself. We went through 3 weeks of no contact only to find out 2 days before that they needed everything for us to close. After moving mountains to try and get everything my loan officer needed, she did not communicate anything to us until 5:55PM EST each day. When purchasing our point discount, I had contacted her to gain more insight before we agreed on anything. She stated that she will call me back, which was a couple hours later. I understand everyone has a life after work, but if you send a customer a document at 5:55pm needed a decision, you should expect to explain the pros and cons. After not getting the explanation, and agreeing on a point purchase at a certain price, my loan officer failed to inform me that the rate has changed and it would be more expensive then what we were initially quoted. Each time we received our loan disclosure, it had a different cash to close price. Even up until the day we were suppose to close. To put the cherry on this cake, our loan officer had given us the clear to close, only for us to arrive at the title office to find out we were not able to close that day. Overall, it was a hard process and I would recommend going somewhere else. You would save money in your time. I had wasted days and nights trying to figure out the loan. I understand saving money on using the sellers loan office, but save yourself the opportunity cost of time and find someone reliable.
Xue's Tip: Get a different loan officer. If you choose to go with this lender, I would definitely be prepared to be ignored or follow up constantly. Make sure all communication is documented via email, as they pin it on you if you cannot close on time. Also, calculate all of the numbers yourself and get a breakdown of your disclosure. I had gotten 4 different numbers, 3 of them had the same rate.

Horrendous
Our loan officer, Tracy Hayes, was absolutely and without a doubt completely incompetent. At closing, with half a dozen pieces of paper left to sign we were told we had to put up $4700 more. Tracy never informed us of any such need. It appeared as if it was intentionally done as we did not see eye to eye. Tracy Hayes was telling me how much I could and could not put down on OUR mortgage. Can you believe that? Dictating to the customer. Extremely poor customer service. Signing office supervisor, Watsons supervisor and the supervisor of the builder all had a meeting about Tracy Hayes. Tracy quit taking or returning my calls. Steer clear of Jet he loans. Tracy Hayes made my first encounter with Jet my last.

Communication wasn’t great- check all the details
While I’m sure lenders are busier than ever, it’s important to be accessible and accurate. I found it difficult to get a hold of our originator, she overestimated the closing costs that they’d be covering, and made an error on our mortgage rate when we locked it in, after it took a few days of us to get her to lock it in.
Jeffrey's Tip: Likely the closing costs aren’t worth going with this company. You like to feel secure and in good communication with your mortgage provider, but our experience was anything but. They were hard to get a hold of, overestimated the closing costs they’d pay (likely a sales tactic because it worked), took a few days to lock in our mortgage rate (another sales tactic without the buyers best interest in mind), and made an error on the mortgage rate that was quoted. Not worth the headache.

Terrible
I would not recommend him to anyone. I asked him over and over again for things and he rarely got them accomplished. I ended up doing his job for him a few times because I couldn't trust him to get it done in a timely manner and I didn't want to wait on him. I constantly had to reach out to him and ensure he didn't need anything else from me and multiple times things were emailed to him and then I would get an email from the loan team asking me for documents they already had for weeks. Didn't feel appreciated and felt like I was more of a burden and that my business was not wanted. However Keely was absolutely amazing and on top of it. Every time I emailed her she responded quickly and got everything done in a timely manner. Never had an issue with her once. She made up for all the other issues
Trevin's Tip: Vet out your loan officer before working with them. They get paid very well to do a job and when you are spending as much as you are, you would expect to be treated like everything is a priority and that your business is well appreciated
