It was a pleasure working with Daniel and his team. The underwriting process was a bit tedious, but the team did exactly what they told me they would do and that was getting me in my house. The online process was very easy to follow. I knew what stage in the process I was ,what documents needed to be uploaded.and when the documents were approved. Very happy with my experience!

Even though has been hard and so many requests and a long time to process and change of loan type, Chris found a way to make it happen and happen on time before it was too late. Loan officer had excuses for everything. If she was so overwhelmed she should have had someone deliver the message. I know she had multiple people that worked with her. I had text and emails from people who were dealing with my loan that I never talked to. The other person stated she couldn’t answer certain questions and would let Marta know. Then the message never got delivered or Marta didn’t remember the question. The day of the closing we were told to bring money to the closing. Never heard about bringing money to our closing. The title company stated that we should have gotten paperwork about what to bring to closing and had someone to go over the documents prior to closing. Nope, that didn’t happen. Our loan got sold to another company and then resold back to Jet loans. This was a disaster and stressful.

First of all thanks for the experience of allowing us to become new home owners, I thank God for placing Mr. Chris Austin in our path and life he is such a professional at what he do if you have any type of question concerning your loan process he’s always there when need sending nice videos of each progression just listens and gives back feedback never to busy to email you back you might can’t reach him on the phone but he was very quick to respond to all emails also I would like to send a great shout out to Mrs. Kenia who I really really really appreciate for every call video conversation we’ve had keep up the good work I can see great things in you all future may God bless the whole jet loan company

Go with a different Company!
Save yourself a huge headache and go with a different company. We started our loan application in June. Many of the papers we needed were hard to submit online so we went to the JetHome Loans office and gave them physical copies of the forms. We had been pre-approved and we thought things were going well. Months went by and in early November we suddenly had a new agent because the first was “overworked”. Our new agent was Tracy Hayes. Tracy had a very pushy personality. When I first spoke to him he said we needed to fill out the whole application again even though even had the hard copies of what we already gave JetHome Loans. We did everything that was asked of us, yet we were asked over and over again for the same documents by 3 different people- Tracy, Brandon, and Curtis. It was extremely aggravating. When we told them we had already submitted it to one of the other people, we were told that everyone was working from home due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and so they had no way of knowing that things were submitted. I understand working from home, but not being able to communicate with each other that documents had been submitted is ridiculous. Loan applicants should not be inconvenienced that many times. Another issue we had was that we kept asking Tracy for the Closing Disclosure so we could close in time. Tracy basically told us don’t worry about it. Well, because he DID NOT get us the form in time we had to close a day later. This was completely unacceptable. While they were very aggressive in demanding information from us, it was nigh impossible to get responses from them when we needed to. It was especially unacceptable because I had originally tried to change the closing date since it was very close to Christmas and I didn’t think I could get it off. I was told there is no flexibility in the closing date. The only way I was able to get it off was to change my holiday plans, so I did, but when I was told I had to close a day later I had to change more holiday plans. We should not have to cater to a loan agency like this. Tracy even had the nerve to say he was overworked and it’s not his fault etc. Brandon and Curtis were fine. We did not have any major issues with them.

Devin's Tip: Be communicative and ask questions. Your LO should be available to walk you through anything you're not sure about, and always be sure to thoroughly review the documents and understand (or ask if you don't) exactly what you're signing and where you're at in the process.

Do use if you have another option
This was the 4th time we've gone through the mortgage process and I hope it's our last. But if we have to go through this process again Jet Mortgage will not be on our list. Mr. Lyons and Felicia lied to us. They played with the closing date changing it from what the builder told us. The builder said the closing date was to be around 30 Dec 20.Shortly after we decided to go with Jet and not Chase and the appraisal was done, the closing date went to the 11th then the 18th of Dec 20. I knew that was a lie and told them that they can close on that date but we weren't. The house was not scheduled to be finished until just before the closing. Furthermore, Felicia put our loan number and exact loan amount with someone else's information that had a prior foreclosure in Deltona FL.. We've never lived nor owned property in Deltona FL. no have we ever had a foreclosure in our lives. She also lied to me about having to "verbally" verify my employment with me when I had already furnished their company with the verification access from my employer. (I'm still waiting for her call and we've already closed). We had the money but decided to go with Jet because the builder paid the closing costs. But maybe we shouldn't have. I don't know what the future holds for Jet Mortgage and I wish them well. But maybe they shouldn't hire people like Michael Lyons and Felicia. Anyways we're moving on and putting this behind us. Despite of it all. Happy New Year to all!!!
