Review
Was not happy with the final closing interest rate. Went from 1.99% rate at initial contact to 2.75% rate at closing and putting more money down. After waiting 10 months for completion, only had four days notice for closing. Money had to be wired 48 hours prior to closing and my bank was out of state. Should have been informed about this prior. Very stressful.

I worked with Chris Austin from Jet Home Loans. Chris was personable and always responsive. Anytime I had questions, Chris got back to me immediately with an answer. Chris really became my point of contact - even moreso than my builder due to his quick & accurate communication with me throughout the building process. Most importantly, there were no “surprises” with a Chris (I.e. I never got blindsided with mis-information or costs - as I did with my builder).. Chris was a complete professional; he was competent, accurate, and transparent. I am very grateful for his help during this very stressful building process. Pamela McAfee was equally responsive and helpful.

Jet HomeLoans was an Excellent choice
Everyone says that buying a new home is a nightmare, suffering a lot of stress during the process. People say that lenders ask you for a lot of documents that are not necessary, for me that was not the case, my lender and his team were always on time with the deadlines, they did not ask for anything but necessary and relevant documents. 100% recommended !!!
Karen's Tip: Just have your documents in order and be smart with your credit.

On a scale of 1-10 Maggie in sales was awesome she was a true pleasure to work with. Donny gets a 10 hands down awesome loan officer. The Notary unfortunately was a huge disappointment. No personality at all. When in customer service requires a people’s person. He was terrible, didn’t give an overview of any of the docs. Good thing I’m in the biz and understood all the docs!

Joani and her team are the best. They put customers on top everything which is rare particularly most of the lenders act like they are superior to mortgagees or they leave customers on limbo after the rate is locked (I.e. after they get your business). Joani not only stays on top every step of the way all the way until the closing. She also goes above and beyond to communicate with all stakeholders—title, agent of the other party etc. and irons out any issues come up. She closed my purchase in 26 days! Without a doubt, she is getting my business when I buy another property in TX. Oh yes I almost forgot, she is responds to your text or call even in late night. Try out her service. You will never get upset!
