Challenging at best
We had challenges with this bank from the get go. They messed up our appraisal so we missed our closing date. NC offers a 14 day grace period on closing, but we missed that date too. We had to sign an amendment to the contract to extend closing, which required additional DD$. We missed another soft deadline and ended up closing on Nov 10th, 53 days after the initial PSA was signed. That's simply too long, even in this market.

Honest and Easy!
I refinanced my house. At first, as I was shopping I went with another company that wanted upfront non refundable fees to begin the process. But then I gave Chris a call as she helped with my purchase a year ago. The entire process was easy and pain free. It also did not require questionable fees like the other company wanted. I should have called Chris first! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to either a refinance or a new home.

Worst home buying experience of my life
Where do I begin? At closing my financing was pulled because my lender had information wrong regarding the sale of my previous home, which wasn’t being sold. Not only did they fail to tell me I couldn’t have 2 FHA loans, I also wasn’t told my current (soon to be ex) wife was required to be on the title, and at closing, until the day before. Up until then everything was great. I was so happy to start a new life for me and my two kids. Imagine how it felt as a father to have to go home to your kids and tell them you lied to them and wouldn’t be buying a new home. We are absolutely heartbroken.
