Everyone we spoke to at FBC Mortgage was very helpful. We had a lot of questions, and the staff patiently answered all our questions so that we felt confident moving forward at each step. It was a bit confusing with all the different individuals we had to communicate with, rather than having just one contact person, but otherwise we are happy with our experience.

Easy mortgage experience!
This is my second mortgage with Sam; my first being my very first home years ago. Sam and his team made the experience very easy. In fact, it was the easiest part of our homebuilding process. It's been several years since we applied for a mortgage and closed on a home, and they always answered my silly questions with ease; courteous all the way through. I highly recommend!

This was my first refi and it went very smooth. From the first conversation I had with Amanda to the day the loan funded it took exactly 30 days. She answered all of my initial questions and did a great job following up with any updates throughout the process. She responded to all of my questions or concerns in a very timely manner. Overall, I’m glad I had the opportunity to work with Amanda for my first refi and I will be in contact with her for any future lending needs.

Had requests for duplicate documentation, and sometimes for documentation that didn't exist, e.g., we got asked for monthly statements; we sent quarterly, which we had, and which had monthly data on it, but kept getting asked for monthly statements

Overall I was satisfied with the entire process. Everyone at FBC was very professional and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The delays seemed to be a lack of communication with the title company that resulted in my closing be delayed for one day.
Jean's Tip: I would recommend avoiding a Monday closing date, when additional documents were needed late Friday afternoon it was too late to get them signed and returned and close on the scheduled Monday date. (This was the title company not FBC!)
