Working with Kristin on my recent home purchase was an absolute pleasure. From the first consultation to closing, her professionalism and expertise (and friendliness!) were evident. When you are buying a house in another state without being able to attend closing in person, you really need someone trustworthy, and let me assure you, Kristin is just that. The whole FBC team that we worked with was great but I would like to recognize Matt McDuffee and Julie Honohan in particular. We started this process last fall when we put a contract on a condo. Our original offer was rejected as was our second offer. So, a lot of work was done in vain. However, in January, the sellers changed their minds and decided to accept our second offer. The back and forth continued though because this was a probate sale and there were insurance issues due to 4 point inspection issues. Julie Honohan jumped on that issue and got things squared away. Matt McDuffee worked through several iterations of the mortgage due to timing of the probate court and last minute requirements of the seller. Their ability to quickly and professionally react to changes made sure that everything got done just perfectly. Their communication with us was excellent. This was our second rodeo with FBC Mortgage and quite likely it is our last time but both experiences have been great.
