Frustrating Experience
My loan officer, Shevlin Pierce, was great! Very nice and responsive. However, the underwriters at FBC Mortgage were a nightmare. I am a legal professional with high income, a high credit score, and virtually no debt. I have been at the same job for 20 years. I own three other houses free and clear. Even after giving the underwriters 2 years of tax returns which validated (under oath) my income and various business holdings, W2s, K1s, and all the other banking and other information they required, they still required that I "source"/prove where certain deposits came from (like I was a criminal), verify that certain bank accounts were really "mine," and repeatedly explain things in writing that I had already explained in writing. It was like they didn't look at the information I had already provided, so they just kept asking for the same thing. I had to jump through a lot of unnecessary hoops with FBC, which made the process very time consuming and frustrating on my end compared to other lenders I've used.
Robert's Tip: Be prepared to be heavily scrutinized if you are a high income earner

Exceptional/ Closed on time!
Dennis Moseley is truly in the business of helping. Exceptional! Went above and beyond. First, I was denied with another lender after signing last closing disclosure. That’s when I reached out to Dennis, told him everything that had occurred and he kept his word. He ensured me that, that should’ve never occurred. He was consistent, honest and very helpful. I was doubtful at first and Dennis assured my realtor and I that things would be good. He worked his magic and guess what! I was able to close on my reliant home. I didn’t even know how to feel. The reliant team along with FBC team were excellent in communicating and keeping me up to date even when there were hiccups. They all made it happened!!
