Great experience
We were very happy with our experience with Maronda, Molly, and the rest of the staff. She made the process easy and told us exactly what we needed to close on time. The only thing I wish was better was the communication in the beginning but towards the end it got better. We have had some issues in the home but a supervisor is looking into it, we put in a request and I got a fast response. As long as we get a quick response if anything else happens (hopefully nothing else does) we will be happy. Thank you we are happy to be home owners!

Lee's Tip: The videos that are sent each step along the way have been really helpful--they make it really clear where you are in the process and what's coming next. At first, I didn't think they'd offer information I wasn't already aware of, but even if you've done mortgages before, they are really helpful.

I was referred to Mike Bedell by the listing agent for one of the homes I was interested in purchasing. I chose not to use a buyers agent hoping to be able to negotiate a lower purchase price since the seller wouldn't need to pay a buyer's commission and I was already doing all of my own research on recent sales etc. I was able to save over $10K on the purchase price doing it this way but it's definitely not for everyone. Even though I purchased a different home with another listing agent, I still went with FBC as my mortgage lender simply because Mike's customer service was so exceptional. He pre-approved me within 10 minutes of my first call with him and his response time with any questions I had was almost immediate. This was my first home purchase but Mike and his team made it so stress free and kept me updated throughout the entire process that I will recommend him to all my friends and family going forward.
