This is our second time dealing with FBC. This time it was about refinancing. They made the process so much easier. Refinancing is first of all overwhelming with all the documents preparation etc.. My payment was not where i wanted it to be, everyone including the sales realtor was i a rush to close that was convent to them and not me. Things i was told didn't happen on the sales person side like no garage door opener, no touch up paint, payment not under 1400 the process was long and repeated with resending the same information several times. Letters was supposed to be written up didn't get do. Had to what 8 hours at title place with not even offer a bottle water to myself and my realtor which we are of color and other families in and out with soda, snacks and gifts. Nothing not even a follow up congratulations or thank u for using us nothing. Until this email.
Michelle's Tip: Do not use Chelsea Title company with people of color they are very disrespectful and unprofessional.

FBC is an Excellent company ! Great help ! Quick response time ! After getting no responses back from doing applications online. Our realitor suggested using FBC and we are glad he did . We walked in and got the help we needed right away. We had bad credit . But the underwriter was able to get our credit reports updated . And was able to call and get everything situated to get an approval . We asked FBC to close us quicker than the normal 30 days . And we successfully closed in 3 weeks ! Sara staggs always responded with a text , call , or email accordingly and in a great response time. She was very friendly , nice , very professional but went the extra mile to get to know us personally to make the process easier. She went to the closing table with us to show her support. I would highly recommend her and this company to others . And will definitely use them again when we buy our next home!

Lacking communication at the end
Communication was few and far between between not sure where we stood. At the end we almost had a late closing due to not having closing amounts in time to get money wired due to people taking time off work and not sending information to us before they took extended weekend. Friday before close we got a shocking email stating we would need almost double the money to close then what we had been told throughout the whole process. At close we had to have almost a 1000 dollars more than we were told throughout the process, I guess it was better than the double amount told to us three days before closing. Super stressful end because of lack of communication.

Excellent service
Our realtor gave us a list of mortgage vendor and we choose FBC. Glad we did. We had the option of using our home bank or a local Florida lender. Because of potential complications we choose FBC. Jeff was so helpful as we purchased Florida property from out of state while continuing our busy jobs. No matter how many crazy questions we had, he was patient, knowledgeable and took all in stride. He was prompt in getting back to us. Closing went off without a hitch! Thanks Jeff for looking out for our interests.
Park's Tip: Ask as many questions as come up before the draft closing documents are prepared. We had to sign 3 drafts which was fine, but cumbersome.
