Easy and Efficient Process!
As first time homebuyers, we had heard a lot of horror stories about the process of getting approved for a loan. We have quite a bit of student debt under our belts and thought that we would never get a house. Blake was phenomenal about talking us through our options before even hitting our credit. It was evident from the first phone call that Blake was looking out for us, and not for getting another loan secured. He was with us every step of the way and answered all of our questions, no matter how many times we asked. We also got to work with Kelly who managed all of our documents and was always making sure that everything was perfect. We did not spend weeks trying to produce documents for her because she knew exactly what was needed from the start. They also even helped us find home insurance coverage when we started to get overwhelmed with the options! They are the whole package. FBC was a dream to work with and also made our dream of owning a home come true. I would recommend this team to anyone who wants to buy a house. We are forever grateful.

Poop communication, slow answers, and no return emails or calls for days.
This is my second mtg from FBC. John and Tonya were amazing. The slow forgetful calls, emails and communication from Alison and Carla was aweful. Most of the time, it was me pushing the loan process. Even to the last Monday an email from Alison before closing, saying she was sorry that she didn't email me back for the last emails of Friday.

My loan officer Jackie Hohman worked with me every step of the way. Any questions I had she quickly answered. I scrutinized the paperwork sent to me for accuracy, and everything checked out, no surprises. Got a great rate and closed on the scheduled date with no problems. FBC has this process very well streamlined. I would do business with them again and recommend them highly!
Miriam's Tip: The Appraisal! Have your home ready for the appraiser visit. Fix ahead of time items that may be noticed so appraisal doesn't delay closing. Don't renovate big items, just the smaller ones, like toilets should work, no chipped paint, fascia/siding not missing, electrical outlets have plates, AC works, lights work, etc.
