Streamline wasn’t so streamlined
Communication was mediocre. The agent sets the bait and then there is a whole bunch of different people that get involved. It got annoying and we almost went elsewhere to refinance the loan. There was nothing really satisfying about the process.
David's Tip: Ask questions upfront. Be ready to communicate with numerous people even for minor things.

Remove the management review or have it done earlier in the process.
Barbara did a good job but the "investor" was not flexible on the loan amount even though I was well qualified for an increase. The "management review" demanded by FBS only days before the closing date (when it could have been done much earlier) is ridiculous and the main reason I would not recommend your firm to anyone. FBS made a loan that should not have been stressful come down to the wire unnecessarily.

I was happy with the rate and credit I received from FBC but was unhappy that we had to change the documents twice until the third time the quote and loan documents agreed.
Dennis's Tip: After Consumer agrees to quote make sure the Realtor explains why their may at be differences in rates or costs when filling out the required mortgage documents. My realtor had to adjust the documents twice before we could precede with the loan since the rate and estimated costs where different from quote.
