The good news is they were very efficient, down to earth, easy to reach and happy to answer my multitude of questions. I liked everyone on staff that I spoke with on the Scott Stinson team. The bad news is when it came time to give us a rate, they were much higher than the rate we were offered by other banks and based on our credit, and large down payment, that was very disappointing. The excellent news is that the person handling my loan was honest and forthright. He went to bat for us when FBC wanted to charge a higher rate than other mortgage lenders and was able to get us to a great rate that we deserved. Thank you especially to Ashley Francis.
Michele's Tip: Be diligent and do your research. Trust what they tell you BUT verify it to. Some things that you don't think are adjustable, really are.

I ask a lot of questions just so I fully understand everything that's going on in the process and Jaad was helpful in making sure that I understand all of the details at every turn. What Jaad and FBC do great at is keeping you (and your realtor) up to date as to where you are in the process. Even when a slight issue came up, Jaad was at our closing and made sure all was good. I've now been a part of three closings and Jaad is the only lender that I've seen actually attend. I love that personal touch!
