No attention to details
Unfortunately, this experience was not a good one. The first issue was that there wasn’t one designated person responsible for reviewing the loan as it went through the process. If that were the case, a lot of unnecessary phone calls, emails and paperwork would have been alleviated. They requested unnecessary documents on numerous occasions and no one seemed to know what paperwork they already had from a previous loan.Way too many errors were made and subsequently our experience was horrific for a simple refinance. We will not be using FBC in the future for any of our mortgage needs. Also, you should really do your homework on Landmark Title as they could really care less about details. For example, we were suppose to close on a Monday and the prior Friday afternoon we had not received a phone call for the scheduled time. Approximately 3 pm, we called the title company for the time and were told the time was not on the schedule. In closing, there was a noticeable lack of concern on all persons working on our refinance. I guess that’s what corporate has come down to, just hire a body to push the paperwork. Very sad!
John's Tip: Stop sending those stupid cartoon videos as they are insulting. FBC is supposed to be a professional organization and it seems to be run by children.

Loan Process and Officer
The process and Loan officer were very helpful and smooth. The loan officer was communicative and we would constantly receive emails on what we needed and video instructions which really helped through out the process. There were some minor set backs on how the loan works but in the end everything was able to fold properly for the closing.
Jeffrey's Tip: Mention flood zone insurance way before the last couple weeks of closing
