Lots of documentation required

We used FBC Mortgage because they were a preferred lender for Minto (our builder). I have never had to supply so much documentation for a mortgage and I felt if I wasn’t on top of things there would have been items that fell through. Also, they didn’t offer a lock in that allowed you to drop to a lower rate if it was available, so we ended up with a higher rate. If you don’t have time to do a lot of research and provide a lot of documentation, I’d look for someone else.

Great Experience Refinancing!

I used Michael Ordonez to get the loan that I used to purchase my home just over a year ago and he was so great and easy to work with that of course I used him again for my re-fi. Michael took it upon himself to contact me regarding the option for me to re-fi since he could get me a lower interest rate and therefore a lower monthly mortgage payment. I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to everything dealing with mortgages/loans and Michael answered every single one of the questions I had and broke down all the information he needed to give to me so that I understood what was going on. I've already referred him to two of my friends who just purchased a home and would refer him to anyone else looking to purchase or refinance!

Fantastic loan officer

I would like to say what I terrific loan officer and gentle man Brent Lawrence is. I finance my house originally with a VA Loan with Brent when he was with Gateway Mortgage Group back on 8/24/2018. I just refinanced my house again with a streamline loan. Brent is a very extremely knowledgeable and professional individual with excellent people skills. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so, Today, while at work, I discovered that one of my fellow employees utilized Brent a few years ago and thinks very highly of him also. He said that he has often recommended Brent to others since he bought his house.
