He stayed in touch throughout the several months while we were searching for our new home. In the end, I got the best rate from Sam and his team. I was able to submit and sign documents using just my smart phone as well making the process flow seamlessly. Gordon and Laura were a pleasure to work with! Gordon went over the different loan programs and advised us on the best one for our needs. Any documents needed for the underwriters were communicated to us in a timely manner by Laura. From initial loan application to clear to close, Gordon and Laura were responsive to emails and text messages whenever my husband and I had questions. We were kept up-to-date by emails that contained informative videos, as we moved along each step of the loan process. Being in real estate myself as an agent, I hear horror stories all the time about the mortgage process from clients and colleagues alike, so I was kind of nervous going in. However, I must say, Gordon and Laura made this process so easy and stress-free that I would recommend them and FBC Mortgage over and over again!
Aisha's Tip: Have all of your documents (W2s, tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements, etc.) ready when you begin the loan process. Keep them stored in a Google or Dropbox file so you can easily access them from any computer, smartphone or tablet. If your Loan Originator or Loan Processor reaches out to you for any other documents they need to move your application along, get it to them asap!
