Keith Nicely was such great help when we made our move to GA. He kept us informed of what paperwork was needed and when. He kept us informed of any delays and did his best to speed up anything he could to get us into a house as quickly as he could. He made sure we understood the decisions we were making. He made sure we knew we could reach out to him any time we had questions or concerns. He always answered emails promptly and returned phone calls quickly. Definitely would recommend him to others.

Worst loan experience ever
Jackie was unorganized, lacked good communication and the e-doc website was a mess. Jackie could easily have provided a basic timeline for us of what to expect (eg: "sign applications today, two weeks later sign this, two weeks later we will schedule a closing near you, these are the options for times, etc." ). She emailed us with "this must be signed and sent back to me by 9pm today” at 2pm but we were at work and didn't see the email until 7pm. A heads-up at the beginning of the process would have been helpful. She was very concerned about closing the same month (but we didn't care) and she kept bringing that up that things needed to be completed quickly "in order to close by the 30th.” (We knew she was anxious, but we weren’t; this was a big decision for us but she kept rushing us.) The worst part of the entire process was their e-docs website; it would loop us around from logging in, signing the document and then logging the other person in to sign the same documents while wiping out the first person's signature; it was as if the password wasn't set correctly for the second person. We had issues every time something needed to be signed. We finally had to print, sign, scan and send back. Jackie kept indicating that using our phone or iPad or tablet might be causing the issue; we kept telling her we only used a desktop computer during the entire process. The forms we needed to sign at closing were not completely filled out; we had to call her to finish filling them in during the closing. Jackie also never confirmed our job titles or how we sign our names; both were wrong (we both sign with our middle initial) on the final documents but by then it was too late to correct. It was my (at least) seventh closing and the most frustrating experience.
Lisa's Tip: Go elsewhere; ask for a timeline upfront; confirm the loan officer knows how you sign your name; ask if they have issues with their e-docs program.

Fbc mortgage really took care of me as far as setting up my loan and helping me make this dream come true.
