A dream come true!
Buying a new home, especially for the first time can seem like a daunting task but not when you have FBC guiding your way. Barb Dini and her team were a heaven sent when I thought all was lost. She was responsive, kind, and very professional. They care about their clients but didn't treat me as such. She treated me like family. Horrible Customer Service
To start, communication was terrible and we had to send the same documents multiple times. The information we provided either didn't make sense to her or she didn't care to listen, because she kept giving us push back on what we wanted. She refused to lock in our interest rate when I had a 30 day window before closing. When I suggested to lock in our interest rate at 5.75% she refused and this was late in the week. On Monday afternoon, I reached out to her in order to ask about locking in my rate. She told me that she already did it that morning and did it without my permission. My mother then took my phone to talk to Barbara about her locking my rate without my permission and told my mom to be quiet. Barbara stated that I gave her permission in a text message and as my mother was reading my conversation between Barbara, I never gave her permission. Barbara then stated that she did not need my permission. Instead of getting a better interest rate of 5.75%, Barbara locked me in at 6.625%, which is ridiculous.
John's Tip: Barbara Dini needs to be disciplined for her actions that resulted in me having an interest rate almost 1% higher than it should have been and Barbara needs to be retrained on how to do her job as well as how to communicate and treat her customers. I will say though, Andrea Gilley was the processing manager for our loan and she was absolutely amazing. She helped fix all of our problems. She was always on top of communicating with us and keeping us informed literally every step of the way. I would not have closed on my house if it wasn't for her. Andrea Gilley made it possible for my wife, daughter, and I to move into our very first home. Thank you to her!

Barbara was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the loan process for us first timers. She was available whenever I needed to talk and answered all my questions thoroughly. Best experience I had after talking to two other lending companies. Barbara Dini was amazing. I contacted a number of lenders and each of them either took their time processing my initial paperwork or did not return my calls until days sometimes even over a week later. That was not the case with Barb she had approved with in 24 hours and then held my had and walked me through the entire process. As a first time home buyer their was a lot I did not know about buying a house. Questions to ask things to expect, and over all cost. Barb knew all of this and helped me feel as comfortable as possible. She answered my calls and emails on nights and weekends and never left me hanging. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity to work with her and would recommend anyone and everyone to reach out to her.

I was referred to Barbara Dini at FBC Mortgage by my mother who was a first time home buyer years ago and said she would never of been able to be in the home she is today if it wasn't for all of Barbara's fantastic help & guidance. As soon as I reached out to Barbara, I knew I was going to be in good hands. She was very informative and knowledgeable. She had so many helpful tips to help prevent any hold ups on my file. She was always available, whenever I would have a question in mind or wanting to adjust my pre-approval numbers, she was just a text away. Whenever an issue would arise, she was the first person there to find a solution. I never had to worry when I was working with her. Also, Michelle my loan file processor was amazing as well. She stayed on top of my file and had excellent communication skills. If it wasn't for Barbara and Michelle, I don't think i would of been able to close in the timely fashion that i did.
