Amazing Experience
We have closed on a few houses and the process was an absolute disaster, this was by far the easiest loan process that we have been through. We would definitely use FBC Mortgage again!

I received a massive amount of paperwork requested 6 days before closing and told they needed a 24 hour turnaround in writing. I had to take off work to do this. In addition, i was required to get a corporate card for work for travel. The day OF closing Donna called me and told me my mortgage was going up 200 dollars due to "insurance increases." I had paid off the company card the day prior. In addition at closing she asked to sign my documents and didnt tell me why or what for. I felt taken advantage of with a 725 credit score, no choice of refusing this mortgage increase on closing day, and a high interest rate. We will be refinancing within 3 months. I am disgusted.

Mike was so helpful from the very start! Got us approved for what we were looking for, and was quick and super helpful. Allowed us to come into the office when we could have signed all docs online (but I’m kinda old school and like things explained via another human) and he had no prob with this! He even came to our signing to make sure we didn’t have any questions! As well as followed up after everything was completed to just check one more time! Awesome! Can’t say enough good things!

Awesome experience
After going through 3 lenders including the bank i use for all of my other services, and almost throwing down the towel they recommended me this place and it was best mortgage experience I can tell...i went through 1 year been declined by 1 company (WFargo) and having a nightmare of experience with WFs, other declined me in the 15 minutes (even thought we had 50% of the purchase price for Down payment) , this people works as a team, every one on their own thing, and definitely if you reply on time you will get them back on time...I started the process the same date i found a house, and it took 3 smooooth weeks to complete the whole thing and get into the house.
Julio's Tip: REPLY ON TIME, work your documents in advance, be pro efficient, and get everything in early hours to give time to process during the same day.

As long term members of USAA we originally decided to use them for our mortgage. After a frustrating month of little to no communication after being approved for a loan and finding a house to purchase we decided to go local with FBC. Sheri was great from the first day! She kept in constant communication with us every step during the process. This was a huge relief and burden lifted as we were purchasing the home from our current overseas duty station! We’d very highly recommend using Sheri and FBC!

This is the second time I've gone through Jay Holmes at FBC when I purchased a home and the entire process again, was completely seamless. Jay and Don turn what could be a very stressful process in to a very simple one. They make the loan part of the process the least stressful part of everything from start to finish. Jay is always available to talk you through any question and is very patient and helps explain everything so that you completely understand all that is happening. Don's communication is exceptional throughout this also. He sends a list of documents he will need from you along the way and as soon as you send pieces over he sends an updated list so you always know exactly where you are in the process and what they still need from you. His instructions are very clear and concise and he is extremely responsive also. Overall, there is nothing but great things to say about going through FBC, especially Jay and Don!!
