My husband and I recently closed on our home June 28, 2018. This was my first home purchase and going into it was scared to death! You always hear the horror stories of buying a home. From the date we put in our application June 3, 2018 to our closing date June 28, 2018 it was the easiest process I have ever been through! I can only contribute this to my AMAZING loan officer Scott Middleton and his fantastic team. Robin Dupuy was instrumental in ensuring that all our paperwork was correct prior to loan submission which made the process even smoother, as if it could have been! There just honestly isn't words to describe how amazing this team truly is. Scott made himself available anytime, afterhours, on weekends (holiday weekends at that) to answer any question I had along the way, no matter how insignificant. I am so happy that we chose to apply with FBC Mortgage over all the other suggestions our family and friends were giving us because this experience is one that I will truly remember! Grateful beyond words
Before I start this review, I would like to admit that this is not something I usually do, but there’s a saying in Spanish that translates: Honor to whom honor deserves. The past few months my family and I went through the process of buying a property. As easy as said process may seem, it isn’t. We found ourselves in the midst of a great discouragement due to our first broker’s lack of experience. In that moment we felt hopeless and desisted of the idea of buying a property, so we decided to consider renting. To make a long story short through our realtor we met the best and most professional broker I’d ever seen. Paola Fassina came to our lives as a blessing in a time when we thought we didn’t stand a chance. She with her great personality, work ethic and professionalism wowed us. Through the whole buying process, she proved to be not only a connoisseur of the matter, but an immense support whenever we needed her. It was a pleasure to work with Seymoine and her team from FBC Mortgage. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. My husband and I were first team buyers, and without the assistance from Seymoine and her team, we would have been lost! We were extremely grateful to have them guiding us along the way. Molly and everyone at FBC was very good about returning my calls to keep us updated on our loan. There were some small hiccups that are expected with us being first time homebuyers, but they were quickly resolved and we all stayed on the ball to get home closed on time.
DANIEL's Tip: For clients that don't ask questions make sure they understand why they need to send the documents you're asking for. Some first time home buyers like us might not ask all of the right questions and may send over documents that might not fully disclose everything they need to. Be more proactive about making sure clients know what they need to do and why you need them to do it to reduce repeated attempts of accomplishing the same tasks.
