Smooth from Start to Finish
Once I got Gordon and Laura all of the needed documents at the start of the process, it was simply esigning, and printing/signing/scanning docs after that. They kept me informed throughout and answered any questions I had. While I do not plan to use them again for a long time (since we just closed on our "forever home" on 4/20/18), I will gladly recommend them to others who want a seemless mortgage process

I've done four loans with FBC now and each end up providing the same answers and exact same documents each time. I selected FBC instead of one of the nationwide loan companies because I knew I would be doing repeat business and I wanted a local company that I could get to know and would get to know me. It's not happening with FBC.

Overall a very good experience!
Things weren't going too well with the first property I was attempting to purchase. I finally terminated that contract and almost immediately found another potential home. The transition to the new purchase was seamless and things progressed pretty smooth until the last couple days before closing. Some issues with flood insurance, document signatures and new address/water bill issues kept this from being a flawless five star performance, but I don't feel it was the fault of the mortgage company, hence the five-star rating. I've purchased other properties previously with a number of mortgage companies and this one was BY FAR the best I've encountered!
Robert's Tip: Getting the right title company AND the right mortgage company makes the home purchase a much more enjoyable experience.
