FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!
First time buyer with limited knowledge. When I called Lee Utley, he was out of town but quickly returned my call and was more than willing to answer any questions I had. I stopped by the office the following day and Tyler Ratay got the process started for me. I left town for three weeks due to a hurricane and military leave, but Tyler kept me updated the entire time I was gone. She provided exceptional service and informed me of the documents she needed from me in order to make sure we met the closing date. I am extremely grateful for this team's hard work in making sure we closed within a month! I would highly recommend their services! Thank you Lee, Tyler, and LeighAnn!

Great Experience
My home search was quite lengthy, as I was very particular about the location/price/potential of the property I was looking for. In addition to that, I offered on several properties that fell thru for one reason or another (short sale was disapproved, property failed contingencies, etc.). When I finally the one I ended up purchasing, the closing process was delayed by Hurricane Irma. Throughout this experience, Kelly and the FBC Team were always available and responsive to keep me abreast of the process and current loan options and details and really helped through the confusing and stressful time during the final close and dealing with the impact of the storm on the closing timeline. They made the whole transaction as easy and smooth as anyone could ever hope for.
Matthew's Tip: When comparing estimates from multiple lenders, take the time to really break down the itemized closing costs to be sure you're comparing apples to apples. Of course, rate matters, but be sure to understand the many other items to make a fair comparison. And make sure to look for omissions - costs that you will incur that may have been overlooked in the GFE.

A dream come true!
I was so nervous about purchasing a new home as a first time homebuyer. Eric and his associates were just super great and so helpful. They kept me informed throughout the whole process and helped make obtaining this mortgage a pleasant experience. I cant thank them enough.

First time home buyer
Even though it took 90 days, my experience with Karen and Greg was fantastic. The entire process was initially very intimidating and at times thought I wasn't going to get my new home however Karen and Greg made it happen!!
Cody's Tip: For a first time home buyer I would recommend Karen and Gregs guidance!!

Great experience
My wife and I had a great experience working with Lee on a loan for our new home. Two years ago our loan company was a national company and the difference was night and day. Lee and his team provided an exceptional and personalized experience where I felt I was his only priority. He kept in touch throughout the entire process and met us at closing. I especially appreciated when we had trouble finding certain documents he was more than willing to obtain them for us and even assisted with helping us get Homeowners Insurance. I really don't know how he could have made the process any smoother.

Great first experience
My wife and I had no idea what we were doing coming into buying our first home. FBC guided us along the way and answered ALL of our many questions. The process was undoubtedly a little stressful, but everything went smoother than we could have imagined! Thanks FBC!

Clear instructions was provided. May tools/forms were online and could be signed off online which made the process much easier to complete.
Joan's Tip: Get a list of documents you will need to provide at the start of process. Some documents may take you extra time to obtain especially if you need to get an original.

Nice people. Difficult and arduous process.
Those we worked with at FBC were nice, thoughtful, and courteous. But the process was long and arduous. We submitted long sets of data on seven occasions - with some duplicate requests. We lifted our credit bureau security freezes 42 times (7 times x 3 agencies x 2 people). Part of this was due to the fact that we're retired with assets but little income; part due to increasing real estate legal complexity, and part due to moving our closing date once due to a storm. But the process was extremely time consuming. We spent more time with the mortgage company, than we did with the builder. Just glad it's done.
Douglas's Tip: Be patient.

Friendly and professional
An unexpected change in our retirement life style made it necessary for my wife and I to have to tap into our home’s equity. John Cardosi and Susan Gibb’s professional and friendly service helped make a potentially stressful situation into an easily manageable, stress free event. We have done business with Mr. Cardosi before and, if occasion arises, will most happily and confidently again.
Wilbur's Tip: Our mortgage process was straight forward and uncomplicated, just the way I had hoped it would be. I can think of nothing that would have improved our experience.

Outstanding Service for a veterean
From the beginning all paperwork was done securely online at a secure web site. However we decided to drive down for one of the big paper crunches. All questions were answered quickly and professionally. They even suggested I do a VA loan since I was a disabled Vet. Was planning on a conventional loan but after discussing the issue went with a VA loan.
Earl's Tip: Maybe a print out of what the buyer pays with this specific builder. The builder we used pays all closing costs but not all costs are considered closing. Sometimes this gets confusing.
