Scott and his team really know their field, and are great at making sure you understand what's going on step by step. As a first time buyer, I didn't know much about the loan process, but they walked me through the whole way. When companies were giving me trouble, they even intervened on my behalf to make sure we got everything and closed on time. I would recommend them to anyone!

We had the best experience working with Lisa. She was always looking out for our best interest. FBC Review
Our closing process was exhausting and took ~5 weeks due to circumstances that happened along the way, some of then were unforeseen i.e. hurricane Irma. The Stinson team however, was always on top of things, and were always there when we had any questions or concerns.

Improvement of communication
I think that the officer could have used the telephone more effectively than email. And, if he used the phone, more, he would have been able to explain the process, much better.
Laura's Tip: My officer was excellent but I believe it could have went much smoother with improved communication skills.

Great job with challenges that could have been avoided
All in all, very pleased with the way the team performed however it was not without challenges on the customer end. In my opinion, the biggest opportunity for improvement would be in communicating with the borrower better. THis does not have to be via phone but if the website could be updated to provide information as to where the application was throughout the process and how long each department took to perform it would remove some stress. In this case, the loan closed on time even though not getting final approval until 3p the day before closing. I was very impressed that the team pulled this off but to me, it should have never gotten down to the last minute. Communication is key!
