Very good and simple experience

Everything from the beginning was very simple.Fargo informed me of everything needed for approval and explained the process accordingly. Overall everything was great and I was able to close on time! 🤗

Horrible service and experience!!!!

I want to inform you that it's not that I'm thinking of switching lender! I already did switched lender, from the beginning of this process Jeff Schneider has been lying to me and misinforming me! It costed me thousands of dollars already for all his bad and HORRIBLY service if you can call that service! I never received an answer as to why he were charging me almost 13,000 for the purchase of half of point of interest rate! And others many fees that did not make sense! Never respond back on why they weren't covering the closing costs! when that was the only reason i chose him , no one ever returned my calls or answered the same ones! I can write a book if I wanted to about the whole bad experience with Jeff Schneider and his team!!! You tell me how paying my own closing costs with Mortgageright is going to cost me $8,000 dollars less than RMC supposedly paying my closing costs!!!!! It was all a lie, you are only here to see how much money you can get from the client! No wonder Jeff pic is nowhere to be found in the website of course someone scamming people like him won’t put himself out there.

TERRIBLE

BEWARE!!!! RMC makes buying a home the worst experience ever!!!! If I could leave zero stars I would.... So currently I am in the process of building a home working with Yael Chenard and her "boss" Dean Longway have been HELL!!!!! I have written emails and made numerous phone calls to them both they do not return calls nor answer there emails. I explained to both Yael Chenard and Dean long way that I was shopping around for quote being that they are the preferred lender to my builder I put in my application with the company and also asked for a break down to get best deal on my shopping. When you are shopping for home loan you get quotes and Yael couldn't even find my application asking me what my credit score was uh ma'am this is your job and why can't you find it? Also I was questioned on why I needed the info.... uh WHAT?? I was simply trying to get what they covered as far as preferred lender perks for using RMC if were go with them as the preferred lender! How much do you guys cover? Yael didn't even have the proper information on the "Estimate" she sent over!! But why an estimate when I put in a application oh because Yael wanted me to remove debt that had been PAID OFF! On my credit report.. Again why ma'am? Oh because that's the only way to get you through to underwriting. Yael needs to go back to what she use to do because this ain't it. It seems to me you don't know how to do your JOB She chose that job it didn't choose her!! Like customer service is everything to a person. For me to write a review it has to be bad!!!! Dean the manager isn't any better I spoke with him and he was going to get back to me 3 months ago! So I sent an email on the issue it's been crickets where is corporate when you need them. That's my next step because this can't be how a real mortgage company treats people.RMC IS A JOKE AND RUN WHEN YOU SEE THEM ON ANYTHING!!!Thanks for NOTHING!

Review of my loan officer

The poorest customer service ever received. The officer has never reached out to borrower to inform me of any new changes to the interest rate in accordance to the market price. He has never highlighted the advantages a borrower might face nor the disadvantages of the loan. He left me in limbo either intentionally to take advantage of my inexperience. I have to do my own research on the market interest rate.

Ensa's Tip: Never choose Fargo or RMC for future mortgage loan. They are all in this to lure customers for their own good. I regretted doing business with RMC Mortgage. Did not learn anything from them as a first time home buyer.

If I could give 0 stars I would

Terrible customer service. Wasted my time as a working professional to run around getting quotes to match, then saying nothing was "realistic". I made the comment that I could bring any quote to the table and hear that and she got quiet, which confirmed for me this company's lack of integrity. The loan officer never wanted to share what rate we qualified for; stating we could buy down points, but how do we know what we're buying down from? She couldn't answer that. Then she pulled some snake in the grass type stuff by telling us to sign our disclosure even though it showed the incorrect amount due for points. She claimed she wanted to lock us and would go back and fix it, then we sign and she takes back what she said and screwed us over. My husband called her livid and she managed to get back half of the money she overcharged us. Maybe it was the company's fault, but even the communication on the officer's end was terrible. At close our paperwork was wrong and she wouldn't answer the phone. She worked out of the office we signed at and everyone working said she should have been there. My guess is she was avoiding us, but that's okay. The lack of integrity on her part and/or the company was enough that we didn't want to deal with her anymore. It's disgusting that such and employee and/or company exists. I will tell everyone who listens not to do business with them. I NEVER leave negative reviews, but this experience is so sour it deserves one.

OK

As a first time home buyer, more was expected. Nobody saw it fit to explain the process or what to expect from the outset. I got calls twice for instant decisions about things I didn't understand and contacted by 2 other agents I was unfamiliar with. They needed to explain locking the rate once a rate was given. How would i know locking a rate had a time attached to it even during a specific business day? The terms used for some of the same things between lender abd developer are different which causes some confusion also. The process was swift in some parts but lagged in others. I had to sign a document about the possible need for more documentation in the future. I hope that's not the case. I asked questions and they were always answered. It's just that you don't know what to don't know and I didn't get the feeling anything would have been pointed out to be if I didn't specifically ask

Excellent Service

Excellent service! Even when the process took more than a year he was always watching over us and giving us updates. He was there always answering our questions and giving us options. I would definitely refer more people to him because of the good job he did.

“Barney Style”

In the Marine Corps. We have this term called “Barney Style” which in short means to breakdown information to the most simplistic form possible so there is no confusion… once I explained this term to my lender Pamela SHE UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT!!! I can honestly say her level of patience and knowledge answering all my question exceeded any of my expectations that the home buying process would be. Most importantly, I never felt rushed or embarrassed for my lack of understanding. Let’s face it… the home buying process is extremely overwhelming, but I truly wish I was buying another house just so Pamela could be my lender again! That’s how satisfied and happy I am. Unfortunately… the experience I had with my loan processor was the opposite to say the least. We seemed to have too much miscommunication…

Amazing!

This was our first home purchase. Pamela made it so we understood everything. She didn’t mind texting or communicating during evening hours. She answered every question I had even after closing. She helped us in so many ways to make it to that closing table. We appreciate her so much!!!
