It took awhile, but we got there!
We started off going for a refi as a VA mortgage, however, hit a snag that FBC hadn't anticipated. They redirected our application to a conventional refi, and held our rate through the process. All in all, very happy with a decreased term and great rate!

Nightmare
Communications between myself and the loan specialist was the worse. There was no way of contacting her over the phone. All was done via email. It was frustrating not receiving an answer right away, specially if you're a first time home owner. Her assistant Dylan always requested me to wait on the specialist to receive an answer to my questions so no help there. I was told by Debra that she receives 500-600 emails a day and could not respond right away. It was one questions after the other as the emails were not to the point or clear most of the time. There were many things that changed from beginning to end. There was information I was not told about until closer to closing. Debra was not informative.
Lineth's Tip: Apply with someone who is thorough with your questions and is available to you to answer any questions.

Was a little tough getting them to break down numbers to see what the loan was going to cost us, but in the end they were able to answer all the questions and get it done pretty quickly.

The best Lender in Fl
We have been working with Ana Maria since 2016, she helped us with out first home and the process was so pleasant that when the time came to buy a second property we did not hesitate on contacting her. We had done 3 mortgages with her from our little condo to or primary resident and if we have to buy another property I will contact her from day one. I promise you she is the best lender in Fl.

Kevin made the purchasing process easy as he was responsive and detailed throughout several months while my loan application was in process when building my home. There were no bumps in the road. I loved the online portal to upload docs and both my loan officer and processor were very professional.

Professional and Supportive
Cory was very professional, supportive and a resource of knowledge for us during our refinance. Anytime we needed anything or had a question he was there to answer it. We would highly recommend Cory for your mortgage and refinance needs. Although we had a problem with our processor, Tiffany, Cory stepped up and managed everything to recover her shortcoming and lack of professionalism and support. Even with the issues with Tiffany, Cory still made it great and worth while.

Kerwin Morns was so easy to work with. From the very beginning of our loan process he made my husband and I feel valued. Kerwin never left us in the dark, when we called with question he always responded. We had major issues with the builders sales manager neglecting to show any type of decent customer care. There were ridiculous demands put on us by the sales manager that Kerwin professionally blocked so that we could have a smooth, stress free as possible closing. Kerwin never cracked under the pressures that were pushed upon us and he got us to the closing table within 38days. I could go into great details of how awful my experience was with Lennar and their terrible customer service but because of my delightful experience with Kerwin I’m to happy to elaborate on the bad. Kudos to you SBC for having a people like Kerwin Morns on your team! I will definitely refer Kerwin to others.
