Disappointed in the end
Was extremely disappointed to learn (in final days) that I was never offered a 5% down payment option for VA, which reduced the fee by $5000. Learned from my previous lender that the VA program existed and also was offered 2.375% versus 3.25%!! The interest rate was not competitive. Had to "BUY DOWN" and still was not able to compete. Unfortunate for me, I was not in the position to change lenders and was stuck. Otherwise, I would have switched lenders. On the other hand, the loan processor (Stephanie Lucas) did and fantastic job and appreciate her efforts.

Let me frank and inform you that I did not purchase a loan through Mr. Kyle Straub. Despite this, Mr. Straub assisted me...on multiple accounts! I never felt like a burden. Or that I was second to customers who were potentially going to earn him a living. He responded quickly, though various forms of communication. One of the emails I received, indicated that he wrote it in the middle of the night. Telling me that he is involved and dedicated to each and one of his customers. His expertise and knowledge on the process, terminology, and rights as a consumer allowed me to ensure I was well equipped.
