My refinance process went very well. My loan officer was phenomenal. She explained the process and was very communicative and responsive throughout it. Generally speaking the process went smoothly and the loan closing was a day earlier than she had originally predicted. Our realtor connected us with our loan officer. We have worked with the loan officer on a few potential offers until this most recent one that was an accepted offer. Barbara was incredibly responsive throughout the process. Part way through our purchase the Coronavirus crisis began, Barbara was responsive to the rate environment given the circumstances and getting us the most competitive rate. She also helped us right up until closing when due to the environment the close had to be accelerated. The circumstances of this deal were very unique. Barbara was calm, helpful and responsive throughout. I’d highly recommend Barbara.

Remove the management review or have it done earlier in the process.
Barbara did a good job but the "investor" was not flexible on the loan amount even though I was well qualified for an increase. The "management review" demanded by FBS only days before the closing date (when it could have been done much earlier) is ridiculous and the main reason I would not recommend your firm to anyone. FBS made a loan that should not have been stressful come down to the wire unnecessarily.

Barbara was very reassuring and always available not just during office hours. She kept things as basic as she could. I've worked with other mortgage companies and they wanted every detail. Once we documented adequate income and assets we didn't need to document other accounts or side job income. She provided us with the options regarding types of loans, down payment options, and the rates.

Happy with the experience. Mostly everything was done electronically whatever could be done that way. The only complaint is to offer better rates right away. That way the customer is not feeling like they lost out on something. Other than that everything was great. Friendly and professional.
