Refinancing made Easy
From the start, Marci offered valuable insight regarding our current loan and every potential option we had for refinancing. She was quick to answer any questions and never pushed us to make a decision one way or another - she truly had our best interest in mind (pun intended). Thank you Marci for all of your hard work! It’s appreciated.

Amanda Spor is amazing!
We loved working with Amanda Spor. She communicated with us on every step in the process and made it very easy. She helped us track down a copy of our survey, which we didn’t have, and saved us money by getting approval to use our existing appraisal. She is a true professional- very knowledgeable and responsive.
Karen's Tip: I highly recommend Amanda Spor at FBC Mortgage

Customers Service was beyond the expected. Jackie Hohman was awesome. Process was very smooth and easy. She was able to answer all our questions. It is the second time we have work with her in the past 3 years and her professionalism is top notch.
Luis's Tip: If you want for your loan to close on time all you have to do is upload loan requirements within 24 hours and answer any question they may ask as soon as possible. I checked my email a few times per day to make sure they did not have any questions that I was able to answer right away.

Frustrating experience with the Lender
To be a first-time Home buyer, it was a horrible experience. Nothing was constant in their statement and they barely return a phone call. Nobody took the time to truly explain anything to us. It was a yes or no inquiry and that is it. Moreover, in this particular loan, even though my husband was not a direct applicant, he had to sign a commitment paper, which has been delivered at the very end, 1 or 2 days before the closing date. The communication was so poor that FBC Mortgage was not aware that my husband was in Canada. During all the process, we have been asking about which paperwork needs to be given for signature for the husband to sign..However, it was relegated to the sidelines. All paperwork was not delivered on time and it created such an issue, to the point of trauma for my Mother...Later on, as the borders are closed between USA and Canada with this Covid-19 pandemic, the husband could not travel to the USA and the whole closing process ground to a halt. Messy encounters. Surely, if those papers were delivered on-time, the needful would have been done. Even there, there was no acceptance of responsibility, nor ownership of the blunder that was committed. We were counted as a number or an ID.."Oh we closed several deals during this period.. We do not need this deal per se, said this Chris Hartman"... Wow, a show of financial wherewithal and carelessness, but not a true empathy towards the little heart of my daughter who was ready to celebrate the new house, her newly found room and or to activate her new found sense of decoration....We call Matthew 3 times or more, not a single return phone call. Nice Customer care..... In a loan, there are check boxes in the software package, and if a couple is duly married, the two of them are concerned, even though one of them is the principal activist. How in the world, they could somehow neglect this fact and even assume that the married couple are living together and that husband and wife will be there during the closing..? Oh Yeah, retorted this fellow passing the ball, " if you were to sign a 250 thousand dollars loan, you better be there....Normal marriage couple leaves in the same place." What about those soldiers overseas dying for their country and cannot be at home for their kid anniversary or what about an urgent situation popping up? And in any case, who are you to judge how a family should be? It is quite cozy to simmer in an insulting arrogance instead of acknowledging that the paperwork has not been delivered on time and that the process has not been clear cut ? In the Application, it has been requested that the final paperwork be delivered 3 to 5 business days in advance. Moreover, what we found a bit odd, this was about pre-signing a pre-release document where the price was astronomical, quite 260 thousand dollars, before obtaining the final release document....Meaning, if we did not sign the Pre-release document with whatever amount they put in there, the Final Disclosure document would not have been given and there would be then no loan. We found it like some type of hijacking situation, where you are stuck and has no choice than accepting the bid, before releasing the last document.... Post-closing Disclosure.......There was an error......What a ride ! It is our opinion here......
Xaimara's Tip: Just do not let excitement cloud your rational assessment of things. And if the lender is not available, nor capable to give a clear explanation of the process, you should consider looking elsewhere..
