I had a crisis 7 days before my scheduled home closing when a less than ethical lender showed his true colors (unfortunately they are out there.) At the recommendation of a good friend, I talked to Kim. Kim was not only extremely responsive and knowledgeable, but she was able to take the information I had and get my loan closed in time for my home closing within 6 days and at competitive market rates. I have a background in residential real estate and I've never seen this accomplished in the current lending environment. Very impressive. If you are buying a home, I recommend you call Kim at FBC Home Loans.

I was quite disappointed with the process of acquiring the loan for my house through your company. Most disappointing, was having to send the same information multiple times. I uploaded the information using your website. I also had to sent it to your loan officer and loan processor. I do not know how secure your website or servers are. My biggest concern is all the information I provided to your company maybe vulnerable and if you get hacked my information will be comprised. Another issue I have is that there weren't any introductions from my loan officer to the loan processor. I received emails from someone in your company asking for information I had already provided. I do not feel the process should have been this complicated. The only reason I gave you 1 star is because the system would not let me give you no star.

Casey was amazing! From the moment We were introduced to him to closing of our first home! I met him a couple years ago and even when we weren’t quite ready he never gave up and always looked for another way. Although a bit nerve racking with rates going higher, Kevin Townsend was as reassuring as could be! He listened to my concerns, took the time to respond in earnest, and was a pleasure to work with. The fact that he is veteran brings a certain level of empathy, or knowledge to the table. Military families always have different levels of stress and housing/buying a home is a major stressor.

A Great Experience
This is the 4th house I buy. I always find the house easily and have a miserable time with a broker or lender that shouldn't be in the business. This time I had a miserable time trying to find a house and the broker was simply awesome. They could not have made it any easier or been more helpful and attentive. Hands down the best experience with a broker I've ever had.

Cordial but Complicated
All of the individuals are very pleasant to work with. One issue I faced though was that there were too many individuals at FBC that I was in contact with. There were at least 5 people that I had regular communication with throughout the process, and it became rather difficult to keep up with who needed what. I was also requested the day before closing to provide additional documentation to support some documents that were submitted three weeks prior. Also, closing was delayed at the attorney due to a delay in funding.
Taylor's Tip: Stay on top of who needs what as you will likely get emails from multiple people. Copy everyone you are working with (including your agent) when you send documentation.
