The service was decent, but at.times it felt like a bait.and.switch. For example, a specific rate was quoted.on tbe phone, then FBC tried to make it higher, or my wife was on the origial loan, but after a one month delay on the Close FBC tried.to raise our cost to keep her on the loan, even thouvh our credit rating did not change.
David's Tip: Stop promising the moon verbally on the phone, and weeks later in writing not offering the same that was quoted.

Both Jaad and Dawn to a good job getting this loan funded in a 30 day period. They were able to get the loan manually underwritten which is not common. The only hiccup was that builder was paying the closing costs but that was not what the closing attorney had on our closing paperwork. They were able to fix this without any delay to the closing.
Phillip's Tip: If you have any questions, Dawn is the easiest person to get in touch with. If she does not have the answer, she will get you in touch with the right person.

FBC to the Rescue
I was pre-approved for a mortgage from another lender, but their underwriter changed all that! Anyway, I was down to the wire - sell stock, take the tax hit and pay cash or try to get a mortgage from another lender. Bud Kline and FBC came to my rescue. It was easy-peasy. They just copied the already completed forms from my other lender, they even figured out a way to use the appraisal that I'd already paid for from the other lender. We closed on the property double-quick. Saving me a bundle in taxes PLUS the interest rate was lower than the mortgage for which I originally applied! Thank you so much (particularly Debi M).

I highly recommend Fbc Mortgage, LLC and my mortgage loan officer Andrew Sachs. Andrew and his team went above and beyond my expectations and were able to turn the impossible dream of owning a home into a reality. They were very professional and always available to answer questions and provide guidance from preapproval to loan closure one week earlier than originally scheduled. Andrew, Neena and Cherryl are the best at what they do and I am confident I would not be in my dream house, had I chosen to go with anyone else!!

Not a smooth process
As a business owner, with consistent income for more than ten years, the application process was a total nightmare. The loan processor had a completely disorganized way of requesting documents and tracking the documents received. There was no way for me to view what I had already sent her. She requested documents last second which had already been sent to her, causing a delay in our closing. She used industry abbreviations when asking for documents (ie “LOX”), assuming I would know what that was. It was a horrific experience. My loan officer was helpful, but waited until I asked for help to get involved, and after I was at my wit’s end. I had a phone conversation with the loan processor, which was probably the least professional phone call I’ve ever experienced when dealing with any financial institution. One time during the conversation she even told me I wasn’t listening, as if she was speaking to a child. There was absolutely no respect. I wasn’t treated as an adult. I’d absolutely never go with this lender ever again. I hate to say that because I like the loan officer. But, in all candor, I would never refer anyone nor do business myself with Home Loans Today again.
