Faith's Tip: When they tell you to complete a task do it ASAP because underwriters have work to do that is time-sensitive. The quicker you can respond to the completion of tasks, the smoother your loan process will e.

The only thing that was a little annoying was the constant back and forth with person who was in intermediary for the underwriter. It would have helped to have everything requested all at once and not piece meal it.every time I have to request another item from my accountant it costs me more money. Other than that everyone very thorough and quick. Chris Hartman was on point, very knowledgable, great communication, a real pleasure to work with

Chelsea Smith was our loan officer and she was INCREDIBLE! There were times of high drama (not related to Chelsea, but the title company and an insurance agent) and she kept us calm and cool throughout the entire process. We can't thank her enough for all the work she did for us! Devon Pendergraf was our loan processor and she was also fantastic. We would definitely go through Chelsea and Devon again!

Best refinance experience to date!
I almost couldn't believe how easy Chelsea made the process. She was a delight to speak with and very knowledgeable. There was only 1 issue I don't feel I got a good answer/solution to even though I asked about it a couple times, so I'm still in the dark about 1 detail, but other than that, the loan closed and it's a done deal.
Mikko's Tip: Always do your paperwork asap to keep the loan officer and team working on your loan as fast as possible.

Could have done better
I'm grateful this process is now over. FBC should make sure the builders they work with and their own loan officers are more upfront with the loan process especially the incentives they offer when being a preferred lender.
