Less than Stellar
Lee, Tyler and Leigh Ann were able to answer our questions and were very responsive. Any time we had a question we could reach them by phone or email and they would respond in a timely manner. Although they were willing to adjust our original loan rate, based on a lower rate from another lender, we left the conversation feeling like we were asking for something that we didn't deserve. The primary issue we had seems to have stemmed from the poor communication between FBC and our builder relative to the purchase price, that was brought to our attention the day before our scheduled closing. Needless to say we got through it and rescheduled the closing a few days later, but this issue could have been avoided, especially given we were building our home and had started the process with FBC 6 months prior to the closing date. As the preferred lender of the builder they should have a better communication process.

Based on assets vs. liabilities process was very lenghty. I had offers from known lenders Chase, Citi, Wells, Schwab with .25% lower rate with faster process without the constent hassle.

Krista has been our mortgage agent for several mortgages now and she is excellent at her job and answering our questions.FBC has grown and gotten quite large. Marketing and videos they send are a waste of time and assume this is first time mortgage process. Hoping that FBC keeps my mortgage this time and doesn't sell us to another lender.Krista and Emily both get 5 stars and if not for krista, we would have taken our business elsewhere.
