It was so easy to work with Kristin at FBC. I thought I was totally in for it after having Bank of America told me I didn't fit the credit score threshold, making me wait 3 months and a lot of heartburn. I'm so glad that a neighbor referred me to Kristin.
Arlene's Tip: FBC does everything online, explains things every step of the way and there were no surprises from their end. If you have any question or experience where a lender is telling you information that doesn't jive with what you now about your profile, I would recommend you drop them like a hot potato and call Kristin. I found out that BoA had DOWNGRADED my score 50+ points, for reasons I could only guess. (No wonder there was a billion dollar judgement against BoA for unfair lending practices!) Kristin had me out the door in weeks because I had all my info in order, and what FBC obtained was exactly what I thought it was. I'm totally pleased and thankful!

Non-responsiveness cost me thousands
When the rates were at their lowest (under 3%) I emailed and called for a week before someone finally called me back. By then the rate had climbed almost an entire percent. Over 30 years that tens of thousands of extra dollars, and in order to keep my rate low, I ended up paying thousands more in points.

This is my third mortgage with FBC. I did two mortgages, one with a local company and one with a Nationally know company. This is by far the best experience, the quickest process and ultimately what you want, a great rate, easy path to closing.
