Lisa was SUPER to work with. FBC added bull***** paperwork to the closing documents that we felt like we were strong armed into signing. This was added AFTER all of our paperwork was in , completed and approved. It was sprung on us AT closing and we were told "If you don't sign these , you can close". Total bull***** move , unprofessional and UNFAIR.
Holly's Tip: If you don't get Lisa Wheeler , ask for her. Lisa was awesome. Professional , friendly , helpful , responsive and a total pleasure to deal with. Otherwise , I would never use FBC.

As a resident of United Kingdom, i have considerable experience in dealing in these matters but was completely unprepared for what was required to raise funding in the USA. However, despite the stresses, Johnny Cardosi and FBC were exceptional in securing the debt.

I had done pre-qualifications with other lenders before only to result in them saying "yes you qualify; however because you have student debt..." and then they would go on about a string of extra loops I'd have to jump through to get the loan. This lender was not like that. They took everything into account including my student debt and good credit history and made it work without the extra hoops. They took time to explain everything; my contact Sam was amazing in answering every question I could possibly have and calmed my nerves through the whole process and was on top of ALL of it from my realtor, to my HOA, to my home owners insurance... and now my husband and I have the house of our dreams!
Jill's Tip: Good credit is important and communication is key! No question is too small; it's a big decision -- make sure you have all of your ducks in a row and accounted for!

Buying a home is an extremely major decision. From the very first conversation with Gordon, I knew we were in good hands. Gordon listened to everything said. He was not dismissive or judgmental, but instead offered to review our situation and see what could be done. Gordon came back with a game plan and a list of items for me to provide and/or resolve. At every step, Gordon was available and excited when we reported progress. I felt as if I were his only customer although I know that is not true. In fact, he responded to one of late night emails - which surprised me! Then, he introduced me to Laura Anderson - what a GEM! Both Laura and Gordon kept me very informed and made what could/should have been a stressful process totally stress free! They are extremely knowledge, responsive, pleasant to work with, detailed, patient and genuinely care about their customers.
