exceptional service.
I was referred to fbc mortgage by my realtor and was very astonish with the level of service they provide, buying a home is really a big challenge with all the paper work that have to be done .I was with another lender before fbc and it was a challenge, when I was introduced to cris heartman and math andre and even their receptionist with her soft spoken voice I couldn't believe how easy it was to go thru a process of buying a house.thanks fbc for making my new home a reality a big job well done.i couldn't go back to my ratio but it's definitely a five star rating.

We made i to closing
FBC was very fast...30 days..we had some stumbling blocks over the new fanny mae requirements to account for every PENNY in my finanacials...a few disagreements with staff...but otherwise the process was very smooth.. and we made it to closing in 30 days
Jeff's Tip: NO MATTER WHAT THE CLIENT SAYS TO U...its unprofessional to respond in a negative manner..it shows that one is easily sucked into an argument...thats a no no.

Overall the process went smoothly. The only thing I would say was a bit too much was repeating to several different people who were working on our loan the same questions and answers. Didn't seem like communication flowed very freely there

The only concern I have and still have is that when the MORTAGE lender needs info from the client immediately, a phone call should be made to the client instead of an email being sent. Because of this situation and an assistant not following up on an important email which by the way ended up in my trash bin, we were a week late in ordering the appraisal for our house and with a VA loan this can be very important. We were down to the day before the closing and we were still providing info for the loan. This was very stressful and I feel very unnecessary. I was asked several times to provide info that I had previously provided. Your staff should be in better contact with each other and know that vital info should be shared to prevent this from happening. Your tatics for collecting info needs to be stream lined to prevent wasted time and to relieve a lot of stress off the clients especially when the clients are in temp residents out of state and vital paper work in in storage in Florida. I had to make two trips from myrtle beach, sc twice because I wasn't informed about needed info all at one time. This cost me extra gas money (550 miles one way), hotel and food expense not to mention all the extra hrs of driving, all because some one didn't think to look ahead after I had informed the lender that we were staying out of state. This was not a very good experience for my wife and I.
