Home Loans Today Provides Excellent Customer Service
My wife and I are delighted that we chose Home Loans Today to close our refinance. Our loan officer, Stephanie Fera, was professional and honest, and upfront with us about issues that arose. We encountered some challenges with our title company, and Stephanie and the Home Loans Today team work along with us until all issues were resolved. If you're looking for the best rate for a refinance or new mortgage, and you want to couple that with professional and courteous service, then I highly recommend Home Loans Today.

Smooth and convenient
From start to finish, the REFI process was simple and efficient. Really liked that they had a website where I could upload documents instead of faxing or mailing. No worries that would call asking for the same document multiple times like with most other lenders. Tori was very responsive as I found she would always respond to emails daily usually around 1pm. To those who may find it hard to choose an online lender, please do not hesitate to use this company. My loan was very straightforward so no strange details to work through but I wouldn't think there would be a problem with any type of loan. As with all lenders, please be honest with the information you provide upfront. It is not the lenders fault if your loan process is DOA because you provided bad information.
Joshua's Tip: Don't hesitate using an online lender. Great way to save on lending costs and they will usually sell your mortgage to a larger servicer anyway. Mine was sold to WellsFargo.

Home Loans Today and Ann Kelly were very easy to work with. Not only did they have the lowest rate for my situation, but the process went quickly and smoothly which is often difficult because I am self employed and more documentation is necessary for refi's. Ann (and everyone) was very responsive.

Stephanie was wonderful to work with regarding my refinance. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and very responsive. Stephanie as well as processer Scarlott Gleason were just a pleasure to work with. They both had personality and felt like I was a friend to them not just a "number". They took the time to answer my questions, and I never felt I was bothering them when I would contact them via email or telephone. Less than 30 days from contact to closing. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a loan. Exceptional Service!!

Easy process
I had decided that I should look into refinancing my home as my interest rate was about 5% and I thought I could probaby get a better rate than that. I called and talked to Mark on March 14. At that point I was unsure about whether to proceed or not, but he promptly sent me information which helped me decide to go on. The process was fairly painless-it would have been easier if I was more computer-savvy-but it went very quickly. I do not have a smartphone and I think that would have been a little easier for all involved. There was very little information that they did not ask for initially that they requested later. Mark and Charlie were very patient with me with questions I had. The only hitch in the process was on the day that I closed when I had not received my HUD closing paper e-mails by the time the notary was calling to come to my house for the closing, but I understand that the person who was responsible for doing that was out sick that day. I called Mark and he promptly e-mailed the information to me and went over everything, so I felt comfortable going into the closing. I closed on my loan on April 8 at my house. The only thing I wish was done a little different was that the closing notary left a CD with the closing paperwork on it, but I don't have much access to a printer and I wish I could have had the paperwork printed out.

Phil Ferguson and his entire loan team were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the loan process. My loan was closed quickly and I am very pleased with the entire process. I believe loan officer was truthful and somewhat helpful, and I am sure I received a fair rate and low closing costs. Loan processor (Cecil) was friendly and communication was generally good. Only 2 issues...1) multiple times I was asked to send in documents that I had already sent (this is not atypical of other refis I have done). 2) ignored my request to have closing costs rolled into the loan. While this was not a big deal, and obviously it is cheaper over time to pay closing costs out of pocket, it was not my instruction. Overall, I would recommend Home Loans Today/David to friends and family

We were very fortunate to find Home Loans Today. Our own bank, HSBC, was offering a horrible rate and were unwilling to work with us to make it happen. Tony has been in the industry for decades and knows exactly what information is needed to help get the best rate possible. We were able to close on time and with a rate that HSBC couldn't touch. I would recommend them.
