Excellent execution
I've been through several home mortgage financings and this experience exceeded my expectations. In an industry that's know for opaque fee disclosure and changing loan terms against the borrower at or just before closing, this lender was just the opposite. They were very transparent on fees and honored their original offer to closing. The underwriting of my mortgage experienced one unexpected delay and they quickly took responsibility for this and made things right without an impact to me. I highly recommend this Lender and Loan Officer!

Homes Loans Today offered the best rate with low closing costs. Ann was friendly and courteous through the entire process. She always followed up with answers to my questions quickly. I started the process in late Nov and closed right after Christmas. The title agent said it was a remarkably easy closing. I would definitely recommend Home Loans Today!

Dave and Cecil were very helpful and seemed to communicate to each other well. The direct number for faxes to go to Dave's computer was great, instead of having to use a general number and hope they got to the right person, or confused with other folks documents. The experience was painless and pleasant!
Sabrina's Tip: If you want a paper copy, ask for one in the beginning. I am still waiting on mine.

Travis did a great job from start to finish. He is the 3rd mortgage broker I have worked with in my years of experience and I can honestly say that he has been the most professional and delivered exactly what was promised. Because of my past dealings with brokers, I had been jaded with regard to working with one and considered going directly through my credit union. Not only was Travis able to get me a better rate, he also was able to streamline the cost of the mortgage closing itself. I am not an easy to please customer, yet he was willing to put up with me and remain calm, polite and responsive through the entire process. It was a pleasant surprise in this day and age to deal with someone who is an old-fashion style professional. I would highly recommend working with him.

Not Impressed
I would not recommend this company. The loan officer was very condescending, rude, and disorganized. He spoke to me like I was a child, lost papers I faxed and I had to refax on several occasions. Pushed my closing date back several times causing me to pay more money than necessary. Overall is was a bad experience and I do not recommend them.

Unfortunately, this particular situation was somewhat unique and resulted in a longer processing time in order to obtain the documentation necessary to complete the transaction. I highly recommend working with Tori Mosley at Home Loans Today. I am a first time home buyer and she made the process go as smooth as possible. She provided excellent service. Even my Attorney said she did a great job! Home loans today gave me a great low interest rate on an investment loan. The closing was on time and they made it happen!

Delivered as promised
We shopped around on the Internet for competitive rates, and Travis delivered on exactly what he promised and said he would do. There were a few bumps in the road, but that's normal for mortgage loans these days. I would recommend Travis to anyone looking for someone who returned calls and emails in a prompt manner and delievered on what he said he was going to do.

Handled Efficiently and Timely
Good result with my first experience in online refinancing. Everything was handled on the phone or online except for the notary coming to the house for closing. I was skeptical -- but it worked well.
