Close but No Cigar!
The people I dealt with were very friendly and responsive. My only problem was something that may have been out of their control. For some unknown reason, my original closing date was cancelled, and I only learned of this by calling the notery to see if she was running late. She told me that she had been called earlier in the day and told the closing was cancelled. I also think the mortgage company was super cautions, I had to confirm one account on three different occastions with conference calls, including a credit card that appeared on my credit report that had been closed for over four years. I also completed some documents twice, I assume the originals were misplaced. I have never experienced this before with several different lenders. Ultimately, it all worked out and I am happy with my loan
James's Tip: Birddog the process to make sure things are moving along, expecially if you are on a tight deadline.

They are incompetent
Warning, Do not use this lender. They charged my credit card and ordered an appraisal and condo documents and condo insurance document and on the 45th day after all tge expenses, they told me that i don't qualify for a refinance. Don't you think that they could had done their homework and find out if i qualify before they caused me 821 dollars of unnecessary expenses??? They are the worse lender to and i don't really know if they are honest. Use them at your own risk.

Best service ever!
I recently selected Home Loans Today for a refi and they did a great job. The rate was extremely competitive and my loan officer,Kelly Timm, was amazing! She was able to answer all of my questions efficiently and was always available for me. I was overwhelmed by the paperwork requested but Kelly walked me through each step and made me feel 100% confident.

Refinance at Heartland Court
Keith LaShier was fine. I have an issue with the many people who had some responsibility with my refinance that caused it to take 45 days to close. For a loan with no issues this should have been very quick and seamless but it was fumbled by Home Loans Today in that I found I had to followup with people. I had to resend information that they lost. I didn't think it should have taken this long and when it was finally scheduled to close, the paperwork was still not ready and it didn't pass inspection.

My refinance experience was outstanding. I was skeptical at first not having done a mortgage refinance through an online bank before. Low and behold it was the best deal I found even when shopping around with well known big name banks that I had many years of service with. But Home Loans Today changed all that for me. My loan officer Anthony Edwards was phenomenal from start to finish. He made my refinance process as seamless as possible. Gave me the best quote and follwed through. His team of processors were also on point keeping on top of everything. Some of my co-workers even refinanced with him. I highly recommend Home Loans Today and will definately consider them again in the future.

A very good experience.
I have refinance a couple of times and this is the first time that I applied and did everything online. Ignacio is straight forward and promises only what he could deliver. My calls are returned promptly even if I didn't leave a message. I closed in time as promised and beat the Rate lock deadline although he told me they could extend it. Lisa Jefferson was also very helpful with regards to my documents and it was pleasure talking to her over the phone. My overall experience was very good. The title company representative (Tiago Title ) was a little bit in hurry and didn't explain most of the doc unless you start asking him.
Benedicto's Tip: Get your documents ready before calling or applying, it makes everything easy for both parties.
