Working with Home Loans Today was super easy and convenient. I worked with them for a refinance. The overall process was quite smooth. While shopping for the rates, they were offering me the best rate available in market. After opting to go with them and locking the rates, I changed my mind and instead of going with lower rate with an associated closing cost, I chose to select lender paid closing costs. They changed the option without any fuss. Closing was quite smooth. Documents were requested in mail and uploaded on portal. Not much hunting around required for any non conventional document. Whatever they required, I had those handy. They were also flexible to include my supplemental tax bills under escrow

He is very professional and communicative; any changes or modifications were notified to me on time. The website is assume and all the documentation was send it electronically.

GREAT SERVICE
This is our first refinance on our primary home. We were in a 5/1 ARM and found it difficult to get out to a fixed loan. Mr. Gomez did a great job in securing our refinance loan and an affordable 30 year fixed rate. He was very professional and communicative with us. I’ve refinanced at least 10 time and this time was by far the best. Within 30 minutes of sending an email, I received a call from Jody regarding home loans and refinancing my property. I asked lots of questions over the phone, all answered with confidence. Then once I got off the phone, I had additional question. I sent an email with questions on my options, rates, cash out, loan terms, various savings ideas. All my questions were answered within 12 hours. Then as soon as I locked in, things moved ahead smoothly and quickly. I was happily able to lock in at 3.5%, fixed for 30 years with no cost and credit for my appraisal fees. First time ever! I’m extremely gratefully and appreciative for the work of Jody Watters and Bonnie Pater. Highly recommended!

Had many issues with the loan process. Information was sometimes requested very last minute even though I gave them everything they asked for initially. They took out money for my property taxes at closing. I then found out that my previous lender already paid that so I had to request and wait to get my funds back. If I never checked with my previous lendor, who knows what would have happened to my money. They charged me a $20 wire fee, but never disclosed that prior to the loan. They also wired the money to the wrong bank account. This caused additional delays in getting our cash out amount back. This was the most disorganized refi I have ever had.

Great support and the process was easy. Would have provided 5 stars but a couple of times it seemed that I had to respond quickly and felt rushed at times. However, overall the experience was well worth it.
