This is my first home I bought. Initially Chelsea Smith helped me in getting details and locking very low interest rate. I got surprised by seeing the low interest rate they provide. Same day went lot of process. After initial documents for proof submission on first day, I worked all the time with Bonnie Pater. Bonnie is very very good knowledgeable person about the documents required for loan approval and she knows each and every thing and very patient person and she was available all the time to respond to my questions and even in late night and weekends she helped me. Some of the things which she is not even responsible also took care of it for me. After working with her I did not get any condition or document request from underwriter. Same day Underwriter approved without any issue. All this credit goes to Bonnie, she did a good job in helping first time home buyer in understanding and getting required documents. Till last day she was helping me to close. Overall all the process went so smooth and I never got frustrated anytime. I closed within 30 day. I really recommend Home Loans Today. Will work with them again in future when it required.

From the cold call introducing myself and asking for a pre-approval letter all the way through to loan approval within 14 business days of submission, and then the f/u afterwards with title company etc., it was perfect. Dan was incredibly available and patient. He provided clear information about costs and timelines, and quickly established my trust. I would definitely recommend him and the company to others.

I don't think I can really give an objective review since the experience is still painfully fresh in my mind. HOWEVER, our loan processor, Bonnie Pater was wonderful to work with. Very understanding of all my frustrations and went over and beyond to make the loan work for us despite gov regulations and a credit managers requirements that make it almost impossible to get a home loan.
CYNTHIA's Tip: It is easier getting Top Secret security clearance. Getting a home loan is very tedious and requires attention to details and quick response to seemingly unreasonable request.

Can't Go Wrong With HLT
When I first started looking to refinance my home, who would have thought that I would end up using HLT. I gave HLT a call and Chelsea Smith happens to pick up the phone. Chelsea was really helpful and very knowledge in the field. She was able to answer all my questions and yet not trying or hassling me to apply for a loan through HLT. The loan process took about 30 days and from what I can say, “It was smooth sailing” from applying for the loan to closing. The communication from HLT was outstanding and assuring. I was either receiving a phone calls or emails on the states of my loan and never feel left out of the loop. HTL has an awesome team when you have people like Chelsea Smith and Kelly Timm working together. Thanks Vang Family
Chou's Tip: Make sure you summit all the required documents TOGETHER to avoid emailing and/or calling back and forth. Otherwise it might take a little longer due to lender is constantly busy with who knows how many accounts.

These guys were A1 with my loan and purchase process! I cannot say enough great things about Jody Watters and Jessica Skinner from Home Loans Today! They were accessible, accountable, they honored commitments on rates and fees, they had foresight and were proactive in seeking info and resolving obstacles that down the road that would ensure they would hit my close date (which was aggressive). They were additionally helpful in offer wholistic options that would resolve my problems, even introducing solutions outside of their area of responsibility, based on their experience within the home buying process as a whole. They were instrumental in educating and convincing my closing lawyer on the viabity of closing remotely through a Mobe Notary. This saved me from having to leave a vacation, driving 18 hours, or delaying my closing which would have cost me major money based on interest rate increases. All saved because of their experience and stellar customer service. They always did what they said, and more. They always got back to me timely. What an amazing experience! I know this probably sounds like a fake review, but it's not. They are really THAT good!
