We moved from South Dakota to Florida and were only getting a small mortgage. We were not certain of specific time for our move and many other details. FBC was very good at getting the information from us that was needed and getting things arranged as required.

Very smooth process, able to complete tasks on my time since document reviews were able to be completed online. Documents easily uploaded. Shelly was was also quick to get back to us if questions came up, and very pleasant to work with!

Shelly was referred to us by our son's homebuilder, and she was amazing. We received our loan approval within 9 days after the application was submitted (which was only a couple of days after the contract was signed) and the loan funded 3 days later. Very Impressed!
We were initially reluctant to use FBC Mortgage since our son had been pre-approved with another lender in connection with another proposed home purchase that he had to cancel due to problems with the inspection. The builder only allowed closing credits if their preferred lender, FBC Mortgage, was used. After our terrific experience (application to approval within 9 days and funding 3 days later), I can understand why the builder prefers FBC Mortgage. Their professionalism, diligence and genuine care was unparalleled. We would highly recommend Shelly and the rest of her FBC Mortgage team to anybody considering a home mortgage loan!
